wait...sorry for bringing back an old thread for most but this is all new and amazing too me..so are you saying if it is signed as bought with 360signedpackage tool you can continue past the demo in its beta form? I am assuming this is not possible with RGH and you need a Dev Console (unless can i leave it packaged as GOD through Phoenix 0.6b?), I am learning alot of great things are not possible with the RGH like debugging Xex file form of games it is a pity now I am going to have to seek out a XDK Dev console

 

Yes. One segment of the 2nd level in the internal beta is completely cut out of the public demo and only seen in the final game, but the segment in the internal is super alpha. Microsoft Sam text to speech reader voices Mordin lol. Tons of unrendered and unfinished content in cutscenes. Overall just a badass piece of Mass Effect history to add to your collection.

 

It should work on RGH if it can process debug commands.

 

I am struggling with this but really wanna experience it! I tried to convert the file to GOD but I had iso2god and it is not a Iso file but i have title 45418986 in content 000000.. How would I get debug to type in a rgh2 just use keyboard? I know this works somehow because I can access debug in other betas like metalocalypse halo etc... Again thanks so much for making this available for us...now I need to know how to experience the leak fully ..I try to pick up a gun it says dirty disk after normal demo from earth...it says dirty disk....

 

Yeeeeeah that's what I forgot to add to my original release. DON'T PICK UP THE MACHINE GUN AT THE END OF THE 1ST LEVEL!! It's not supposed to be there.

Just find and use the radio.

Just download the Dev LIVE container from my original post on page 1. Then open it with LeFluffie. Swap the Coalesced.ini with the modified.ini I left a link to in my original release on page 3. Once done. sign as Dev LIVE, copy back to RGH, and run.

You could put rgloader on the rgh to make it like a devkit (thats what i did) but it will never boot modified xex after that.

Thanks James for your reply I heard about this method as well but then not able to boot modified xex no mods or able to use xex menu would really suck! Team Executioner needs to make a triple demon with devkit/ click Rgh click twice and retail click click click! At this point I do believe just finding a Dev Kit is next option but a expensive one I would Not be able to play debug files like dead rising alphas etc other rare canceled games till I do so . There was,one in Italy on ebay but I went to use PayPal and it said it would not ship to USA!! Fail Search continues!!

 

You can not edit a xex/ change it . Everything else works retail , devkit and arcade games + xex menu and free style dash.

 

What I meant to say I mean is how to play the beta alpha builds you cannot on a Rgh but need a Dev to even run ..

 

Sometime the rgh can play devkit games that a rgh with rgloader can not (dead r). I have 2 rgh .

 

The ones that need Xbox live to play obviously will not run nor the crackdown alpha which only has exes

 

Well Commander Shephers back to the thread at hand..it still would not work..I opened it in XLAST and it said invalid file this didn't make sense too me cause package creation with esps etc I thought were possible through this..an alternative to le fluffie. Le fluffie I hit build after replacing the coalesced.bin file but no luck just stuck again after level 1 with dirty error. Then i tried to extract all the files and manually replace the bin file but le fluffie had problem adding those files. So this time I replaced the file actually going in cookedxenon and hit fix..no one has ever told me fix actually means reshash and verify lol. So after doing verify and fix....and signed for Dev live which I read the awesome soul that converted it may have signed it for devs instead of Rgh...after verifying and fix...which is taking along while will edit results when I get back but I do hope I finally got it!!! Excited!!

This time took the original live container not hacked one..loaded,thru le fluffie..replaced the bin file, hit verify, then hit fix, sign for Dev live...if this Dont work now I'm bout to go crazy!!

 

It worked!! For some reason I just had to use the original file then replace the bin and rehash n verify...I was using the fixed one...

It was,definitely a journey for sure...but I am very stubborn (I watched both your YouTube vids of gameplay and noticed you didn't finish after the level one part I loved how you compared internal and external demos what was cut added changed or unfinished.) And I would not give up I am sure your instructions were easy for most but I always have a way to seem to do extra work to get something done another not needed step to get to the solution..thanks again commander shepherd!!!

 

Absolutely man! It's early build life! Always somethin' else to fix, but worth it in the end!
