What is your most used console now and what console have you put in the most hours ? For me it's the Xbox 360. I got it first in 2007 when I was 8 years old. Luckily my parents allowed me to play as much as I want. And I could have all the games I ever wanted because my console was flashed. Yes, I was burning games for my flashed 360 since I was 8 years old. Now the situation has changed a little bit. Now I mostly play new games on the Xbox one, but when I want to enjoy a last gen game, I buy it for the PS3. The games are cheap now and at least now I have a sufficient amount of money ( I didn't have that luxury when I was 8 ). Share your story.
Probably Dreamcast. I spend a lot of time playing Saturn, N64, Genesis, and Gamecube; but I probably spend the most time playing Dreamcast games. The DC has some really great games, and games look really good using VGA on my CRT monitor. I got my first Dreamcast in 2002, I think. The first console I got had a defect, but I had a warranty on it, so they gave me another one (which also came with the box). I still have that console, and it's the one I use most of the time. I also have another DC that I bought from ASSEMbler a few years ago. The DC has basically everything that makes a console great, I think.
Xbox360 without a doubt, Loved it since 2006. Still pay hundreds of dollars on special editions and devkits. I wouldn't do that for any other console, However now-a-days its only being used for modding really..
Atari 2600 easy. Had it since 79 and I didn't have other system until '87 NES is close second in term of hours played but it'd be a long time before Atari 2600 is knocked off the #1 spot. These days I am playing mostly on my 3DS with games like Atari collection, Intellivision Lives, and a number of NES DLC games. SO I am still "playing" old games even though 3DS is only a couple years old.
Was the 360 but now the One. But most used console of all time must be the Sega Saturn followed by the Super Famicom.
Mine would be my PlayStation 2 consoles. I've been spending a lot of time writing software on them, since 2009. The only thing that changed over the years, was the console itself. Either because I found a better one to use (with the right features) or it had to be replaced due to hardware problems.
Mine is most likely the SNES. Played for years and still play today. My favourite console for sure. Second played is Gamecube.
Nintendo 64 most likely, I miss being a kid, no deadlines, no responsibilities. In the living room playing 64 games.
I've spent a lot of time with GameCube, PS2, and the original Xbox. Of all of them, though, GameCube probably takes the crown. I did play quite a few consoles before those. Mainly SMS, SNES, and PSX... but I didn't start really wasting my time until the sixth generation.
Currently Xbox 360, but historically my trusty SNES. Played, played and replayed so many amazing games on it, from Super Metroid, Terranigma and Yoshi's Island.
Definitely the original Xbox. Have less hours put into it over the Super NES, but that gets bumped up thanks to the XBMC.
As of right now it would be my PS4, All time it would be the PS3, although ive had them all i really kicked off playing all the time with the 3
Probably the Wii U due to Splatoon. But I just started Witcher 3, so that's starting to bump up the Xbox One. In general the 3DS and Dreamcast reign supreme though.
Probably my N64 (mainly for Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, and the multiplayer parts of Conker's Bad Fur Day (even though I only play CBFD's multiplayer against the bots, which are great). Recently I've been playing a lot on my 360 though (Skyrim, Batman: Arkham City, Arkham Origins, and Timeshift, mainly), and my original XBox (Thief: Deadly Shadows, Timesplitters 2 and 3).
Probably my DC, It most certainly gets the most play out of all my systems, maybe the 360 or Genesis are close to it in terms of total play. And as a Youtube machine my PS3 gets used a ton too.
I believe it's my Gamecube. Many a Smash Bros night has been had with it (and still do happen, in fact). That said, my Wii might be getting up there since I discovered Project M about a year ago and has since become my preferred Smash game.
My SNES and N64 got an absurd amount of use. Followed by my Gamecube, Wii, and Wii U. I am 99% sure that this was caused by constant smash bros games, with the N64 also having Mario Kart, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and Star Fox. Most used now? Wii U, DEFINITELY because of Smash Bros. Followed by PS4 because of MKX and MLB The Show
