My first PS1 I USED from 2000-2004 as a main console got replaced by a PS2 slim my dad bought me for Christmas or birthday, it lasted from 2004-2012 when it stopped reading half of my games and since then I've been using random consoles. Got a PS3 in 2013 but sold it and now have a PS2 Fat silver I barely use, I've had it since 2014. SCPH-9002: 2000 - 2004 PS2 slim: 2004 - 2013 PS3: 2013 - 2014 PS2 fat: 2014 - Present
PS3 gets the most use for me. Now that I got a PS3 with backwards PS2 compatibility I imagine that use should pick up some.
I always played all of my consoles but lastly is the xbox 360 I bought one in 2013 and I'm discovering games that are awesome since that I haven't touch my PS3 or the WiiU.
Back in the day, toss up between SNES and PSX (thanks FFVII) with the NES not too far behind. Now, toss up between NES and Genesis with Genesis having the slight edge. This is not to say I didn't/don't play other consoles frequently (spent a lot of time on the computer when I was younger too), just those are the ones that stand out.
It would have to be a three way tie between the NES, SNES and Genesis for me. The Game Boy deserves an honorable mention for making road trips tolerable during my childhood.
My PS2 and Xbox got a very unhealthy amount of time spent on them, largely because that's when I was in college and worked at GameStop. My friends and I would routinely have upwards of 10 player games of Halo running for hours. The title has to go to my various 360s though. I think the first physical game I got for it was Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, and I definitely got more than my money's worth out of that game.
Probably my PS2 Slim. Bought it used from Target in 2009. (Yes, target). CONSTANT hours (seriously, I dropped out of high school and stuck around my room for days) playing RE Code Veronica X, RE Outbreak, GTA Sanandreas and Primal. Was addicted to that console. Then in 2011 for xmas my dad got me a PS3 Slim, which I played all the time. My account got stolen so I have a new account for my Vita. (I sold my PS3). I still have my PS2. I could never get rid of it. It has sentimental value to me. Same goes for my PS1 Slim. Got that in 2001 and still have it.
