Ive looked over your collection several times now and Ive linked to it for my friends to see on several occasions, so I thought I'd finally add my 2 cents...

Your collection is the most dedicated and best I have ever seen. It is the definition of hardcore and all others fall short of its majesty.

    Just amazing dude!

Here's a question for you about the Saturn game. Many people out there seem to think that there are 3 versions of the game on the Saturn. 1 fully uncut like the PSX directors cut. Another with hidden costumes and yet another version with extra stages. I'm calling bull shit because the way I've been told you can tell the difference is from the packing (all have the same code number however). I've seen 100's of Japanese Bio Hazard games and they are all 100% identical. So is this just another one of those internet stories that everyone goes on about yet really haven't got a clue?

Can you point it out Shadow?

Yakumo, AFAIK theres only one real release of the Saturn. Going by logic the Japanese version is likely uncut, like the PS1 release. The North American release is likely censored, B&W intro etc. Hidden Costumes are in both games, undoubtedly the same. I know the saturn has a saturn only costume.

As for extra stages, its the battle game thats in the Saturn version only.

Hope that clears it up :)

Thanks mate. I was getting a bit pissed off with idiots telling me that there are more than one Saturn version. The one I have is uncut like the re-release of the PSX version. Here's just one of the mails I received about the topic. I knew it was bull.

Sounds like bull, I havent ever heard of a trial edition release for Saturn. I've heard similar rumors though of a version which has more live action scenes and gore added. Supposedly a limited edition version. Though given those kinds of pressings were extremely rare back then Id say its fake until proven otherwise.

The part where he mentions Virgin makes me think its the Euro release, as they did Capcom's publishing in Europe...Ill have to look into this a bit.

    Edit:

Generic Euro release has a Red Disc.
Japanese (jewel case) release has a black one, with silver bottom
    American release has all black.

There was also a concept game called Biohazard Dash which was to take place in the mansion after it had blown up. Chris and Jill would find new rooms underneath the rubble. But it was scrapped before it was even off the drawing board.

Na, the ATI sticker if right in the front, but the controller ports arent there.

Plus when you open the cube the side panels come out with the frontal and upper ones (since is all one big part) which here isnt the case since you can clearly see the left side.

Its a GCN shell, as you can see I replaced my original GCN's guts with a fullsize DVDR case ;) The controller ports are used with the electronics, and it cant be detatched unless you want dust inside your system.

I have a GBA Player attatched to the Gold GCN :)

A new photo, As you can see some of my stuff has been sold. Im streamlining my collection so its essentially disc based media, and print based media. I dont much care for anything else now. Some figures I've kept but not many, around 6 out of a whole bunch.

Each Nubytech box contains 8 chainsaws, the chainsaws on top of the left one are prototypes and you can see some molds for the chainsaws on the right box, along with a black chainsaw that was to be produced in Japan in limited quantities.

Nubytech ended up getting into financial trouble before that could happen though and the plan was scrapped with only around 20 being made.

A huge photo is available at http://dot50cal.the-horror.com/test.jpg

Will attempt to get closeups in the future as you really cant tell what anything is.
