A word of caution, Ive dealth with this guy before. He sells a lot of pirate things. Like DVD copies of Biohazard 4D and Birth Of Biohazard (both were released on VHS) on ebay that fetch 50$ a pop.

He sent me a broken dvd copy of Biohazard 4D and it took me a long time to get him to send me another one, and after that I got angry that it was just a pirate copy. The disc's he used for the copies were cheap cheap cheap, and the layers seperated by the time it got to my house.

Worse yet, he presented it as an official Capcom copy of the film. I called him out on the fact it was bootleg and he got pissed.

Anyway long story short he cut me off from buying things from him on ebay now. Which I might add was a stupid move as I would have paid far more than what you are currently getting for your items on ebay.

Everyone knows in the past that it was a bootleg from a Presscopy that i received from my friend in japan ! ( It dont exist as an ORIGINAL DVD )

After this im done with this conversation, I only left you that feedback because you had other things I wanted to purchase. I doubt very much you'd continue to sell to me if I left you a negative.

Check the feedback, I got the first one but because you used cheapo 99cent DVDR's the layers seperated by the time it came to my house. It wouldnt play and everyone else who bought one from you had the same problems. The second copy you sent was ok, i assume you used a different dvdr pack.

 

when you think ..... i even use VERBATIM DVD`S ..... but remember ....

i send you a replacement ! ...so ...do you will say that i m for that a betrayer ?

Very nicely done, only thing missing are the Resident Evil Dreamcasts.

 

Wow... I'm speechless. Awesome collection! I don't think I've ever come across a more focused collection of anything video game related. That must have taken you years to collect all that.

 

About a year and half now actually.

 

Just got the Gun Survivor 2 Arcade in yesterday Its a hoot, but apparently I messed up. The truck driver neglected to tell me that you shouldnt turn it on until its been at room temp for 24 hours. The right side monitor doesnt function (though everything else does, Naomi link is A-OK). So I gotta get some kinda heater that can heat a massive garage...Hopefully Its not dead but the Transformer is getting power, its just not going from that to anywhere and making a clicking noise.

It's a common problem with monitors that have been stored outside in cold temperatures. One of two things probably happened: the monitor capacitors are "frozen" and won't function until they get back to a normal temperature; or the capacitors popped (you would be able to visibly see this at the back of the monitor).

Did you end up getting it from the Weiner Dist.?

 

Yeah, from Weiner. I looked inside the shielded part of the monitor and a capacitor looked like it leaked. Im not too sure though but theres glue like strands coming from it. Although the capacitor itself looks undamaged. We tore apart the speaker area too, I cant find out whats causing that damn buzzing but the current speculation is that its the step down converter (its a Euro machine) thats inside. We tried taking it out but the buzzing is still present. Oddly enough if I pause the game it stops. Gonna try more tommorow.

We heated the one room up to 70F for about 3 hours and the other monitor still wont turn on.

 

Unfortunately, that sounds like the cap popped. The capacitors are filled with a gel substance that can look like that. Fortunately, it's a cheap (pennies per capacitor) and easy fix, but dangerous since you need to remove the monitor board from the monitor in order to unsolder the capacitor.

I had a Die Hard machine that I won off of eBay have this exact problem. The guy kept it stored in his unheated garage and the temperatures got below zero for a few days before I picked it up. Luckily, it was a local pickup and I rejected it on the spot.

 

Well the Cap was ok, Im sending the tube off to the company for them to fix it. Gonna try hooking up some old VGA ones in the meantime heh.

 

Well good news, I took it to a shop and apparently one of the transistors on the board was bad. So Im getting a new one shipped to them in 1-2 days. So it looks like I could have it running 100% (well almost, sound issue is still there).

As a side note, does anyone know if its normal for an arcade to make a buzz sound from the speakers? It seems to happen only when the monitor is showing stuff or in the transition of showing stuff.
