Please definitely post the link in this thread. I and others are definitely interested in reading it. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Wow what an interesting look at the Korean culture, but man that is rough, definitely would make a great movie for sure no doubt about that. Didn't realize some of these teaching english in another country are scams. I toyed with the idea of maybe perusing teaching English in japan, but after reading that kotaku article http://kotaku.com/5484581/japan-its-not-funny-anymore I find it very socially disturbing, though in some respects the author of the article isn't looking at some cultural differences. After reading that it made a lot of sense why my brothers Japanese friend wanted to stay in America so badly ( not doing a pro American thing), just stating how culturally the difference was satisfying and shocking to him like Robin Williams character in " Moscow on the Hudson" Sorry if I went off topic, just relating to your post. Honestly hands down this is one of the best posts ever, and I commend your bravery, I would be scared shit less if I was in your situation. You plan on working in any other foreign country?
I think I used Canadians/Kiwis with Seouls a few years ago. Anyway, recruiters are pretty useless after they've put you in contact with somewhere. Expect ZERO help from them once you've arrived in the country. If possible, just avoid recruiters (ie. agencies).
