Wow all of the US long boxes have their hinges? I don't know if I am more amazed by that or the space that the collection takes up.

Wow, seriously huge saturn collection! Do you play the games/saturns, or is it all mostly for collecting purposes these days?

Owning so much hardware, have you discovered any rhyme or reason to the yellowing of the plastic of some white saturns and not others? Is it strictly time in the sun, or flame retardant chemical in the plastic like the snes? Something else?

Yes I do play them. I had a run of In The Hunt yesterday.

As for the yellowing, it might be both causes. Some of them are uniformly yellowed or only certain parts are more yellowed than others, which would seem like the same fire retardant problem SNES has. But I also notice on some units there are white spots around the controller ports or the ports on the back, which seem like they were in the shadows being cast by the controller connectors and cords having been exposed to sunlight.

Amazing collection, something I aspire to having (unlikely to achieve).
I'm currently rebuilding my Saturn collection after selling a few years back. Finding everything far more expensive than I remember.

    Nice collection.

Is Sega Screams Vol. 2 the only thing missing from your US set? That was one of the last things that I picked up when I finished mine. Definitely the hardest U.S. item to find.

Harder to find than Daytona CCE Netlink?

Alot of things missing in my US collection. According to satakore I have 148/256 US games, but for demos I am just missing Sega Screams 2.

Do you have the Astro City arcade stick? I don't see it in any of those pictures. Very impressive nonetheless.

Yes, much harder to find. The last one I saw on eBay went for $250.

Wow, it's a good thing I don't really care about demos that much. I didn't even intend on getting them; they just came with some game lots that I buy.

    New additions:

A complete Arcade Racer and some games. I had an extra V-Saturn manual so I got another boxed V-Saturn that was missing a manual. It came with a Twin Operator vcd card in the expansion bay, which was a nice surprise. Also got 5 more junk Saturns that are now cleaned up and running.
