    I "fixed" the bridge.
But It didn't solve anything unfortunately, I still only have composite output :(

See if you can wire it up the old gamesx way. It may not produce the best picture ,but it will tell you if your amp fired because of the bridge. Click here for reference.

Can you check if pin 16 has voltage? Because if TV switches to RGB mode (if supports) I think it would not show composite image from SCART.

I'm not sure, if there ever was a bridge, wire actually never seemed to touch anything.
And sorry for asking the idiot question, but would exactly does it mean if the "amp is fired" ? :D

Well, it's just a thick wire, connected to nothing, so I suppose it doesn't have anything?
I will check it tommorrow though to see what, and what not.
    And then return!

Well I do happen to have another THS7314 chip and adapter board.
Would it be easier, if I just did the mod all over again. Only this time, really secure those wires?

    Hey Guys!
After replacing the Amp, with a new one, it fixed the problem!
I think that the bridge takeshi385 told me, was the problem. Or perhaps my soldering, frying that poor little chip.
Anyways, I have run comparisons with the same game, and on the standard N64, the text bounces, which it dosen't on the RGB'd one, the colors are also slighty brighter.
So I assume that it works flawless!
I have attached a picture, of the two compared to eachother. I know it's not the best pictures, but It shows okay I suppose.

    I'm also delighted!
A big thank you to all of you who helped me!
That was really kind of you, I really appreciate it!

BTW, I think that my N64 Scart Cable, died doing this mod.
So if anyone, can recommend me a nice RGB scart for a Japanese console, I would be thankfull!

Now u have a custom rgb n64, so looking for "a rgb cable for japanese console" has not sense.

A official Gamecube PAL rgb cable will works great.

For do a perfect rgb mod you need two more step:

    1) remove Composite from pin 9, wire it to Csync.
    2) remove Csync from pin 3, wire it to 12v

You can wire up the PAL scart to make an NTSC compatible one using this diagram.

Those Cables, are just extremely pricey ! :D

So I would need to open the bottom of the cable to do this ?

You don't need to open the console connector end of the cable, it just means that you will only be able to have 16:9 RGB and not 4:3 RGB. You could manually select 4:3 if you wanted using your TV remote.

ok.. it is hard to see the wiring in the picture...
    Anyway...

Usually (i dont know in ur cable) the a is a resistor between pin 8 and pin 16, a value between 75 and 180ohm.
In your cable u have it?

There were 4 resistors in the cable, I was told by one on this thread, that I should remove them.
So I did, but it didn't really change much.
I have a similar cable lying around, I could open it up, and upload a picture, if needed? :)
