If you like real hardware these couple of things you want now ain't gonna be the last... learn to fix/mod stuff and you might find it enjoyable just messing about with the hardware...
The N64 rgb mod is piss easy, as long as your mobo is the right revision have a go a that one first... it's a good place to start
The SNES mod is difficult but you can do it it stages, just do the 50/60 switch first after destroying some random PCBs practicing

OK, I don't have the parts in stock at the moment and I won't be placing an order for a few weeks, partly because I need to make up a larger order than just these parts, partly because I can't afford to do so right now and partly because I am way too busy to afford the time to sit down and make an order, let alone carry the job out. If you're still in need of help when I've sorted myself out, I'd help - but I don't see that being until the beginning of next month at least.

Emulation isn't the same, but it's certainly not bad as a stop-gap. I have a few emulators on my Android phone to pass time when I'm travelling and such. And there's the Wii Virtual Console, of course. Or go down the Everdrive route.

I appreciate that not everyone is good with a soldering iron - certainly if you manage to kill a battery (shouldn't really be getting those hot!), then lifting tiny pins might be a bit advanced. Of course, if you're only getting consoles modded to sell for profit, you're probably not going to find a modder who'd want to do it - at least not cheaply, as they probably sell modded consoles themselves! Still, I can understand the desire to have a modded system for yourself.

By the way, there's an edit button - use it rather than double posting all the time ;)

No problem, although I don't really understand that - pay them the money, they ship it to you and you either go to Console Passion or someone else, surely?

A soldering gun is no good for PCB work - you need a soldering iron, and preferably temperature controlled. And you can always practice on broken radios, set top boxes etc.
