Thanks for this release. Seems to be a much earlier build than the first proto. The Level Select cheats works, with a much smaller number of levels. A lot of these don't seem to load, but they may do so if you play through the game. A cursory playthrough seems to suggest that the storyline (what there is of it) is different too.

Edit: Stabbing the Start button after selecting a level seems to load them in some cases.

well...to me it seems like a later build, because all of the level that were "finished" looks more polished and there's music (even if it's a placeholder)

Quite possibly. I was going by the lack of levels that load (within the limitations of emulators, of course) or levels on the select menu in this new prototype. The Woods level is very glitchy here with a lot of graphical errors and bearly loads, while the other prototype has a completed level with enemies in place. Both releases have the text "Revision 1.49" and "Revision 1.17", so you could be right.

Oh!!! Super cool - I remember the video Famiac posted with music. Off to play it right now!

Another small slice of poor Glover's lost adventure is saved... thanks so much to Team Carrot, Famiac, and thanks for the link olivier. :D

EDIT: Thanks for the test roms too - going to try those as well. :)

is just me or this new build on the emulators have a problem to save the game and after getting all fruits will not progress? i also tested is playable so far i confronted the old build too it seem some of levels are not finished and see black screen only.

Hmm pretty strange in this version have music in there, is mean are just a placeholder or is completed game?

in old build the completation of product is 70% or so, but this one it seems minor product but the Hud is very different.

Remember that game development doesn't take place in a straight line, just like movies. At times, it jumps around a bit, and changes are made and scrapped.

Yeah - if you compare levels between the two builds, they tend to be fleshed out more in the first build that was released - really fascinating stuff. This one definitely seems to be the older one. I'd love to write up a nice detailed comparison of the two builds, but I don't have any kind of capture card to grab the console screenshots I'd want. So that would be a bit down the road.

I think the Hub Chicken is so hilarious, how he falls from the sky and slams into his nest. In this new build, he actually yells the first time he comes down. :D

For anyone interested, the unknown test cart is actually a Dolphin Controller Test. Interesting in that it runs on N64, possibly from before the GC hardware got finalized or from before any dev kits were made.

I know i tested the old one and pretty strange this one with the music put them finish in only one playable level as 30% complete of the product or is the emulator doesn't check CRC's of glover 2 new build? because i played on project 64 it appears a error before get all fruits wile other emulators doesn't appear.

also note on nemu doesn't works.

Funny so many people love glover. Why was the sequel canned anyway?

    Yep, it goes:

    Dolphin Controller Test

Number of bytes sent 1 Byte
    00
    Once
    Received data

You can change the 1, 00 & Once values with the D-pad of controller 4. And pressing start (on controller 4) does something(sends the data?).
