    Need help replacing afs file.

Hi all new member here and new to the dreamcast modding scene. Ive been stuck on this for the past 3 days and cant figure this out and when I look stuff up it confuses the hell out of me lol. What im trying to do is rebuild the gdi for WWF Royal Rumble. I edtied an afs file and im trying to reinsert it or whatever the term is but I cant figure it out. I tried with gdi builder but no luck. I extracted all the files with gdi explorer and put them all in a folder and replace one of the files with the edited one. Then I do what gdi builder asks and it either says files too big for gd rom or ip.bin needs 1st read.bin. A couple times it made a track 3 and track 5 and I had to open the gdi file and update the numbers so I did that and that didn't work. So I have no idea how to do this. Id really appreciate some help.

I'm pretty sure he's trying to apply the VGA/60Hz patch made by Japanese-cake; http://japanese-cake.livejournal.com/7376.html

No that's a different game. Maybe I don't have to rebuild the gdi file. This is what I'm trying to do. There's a afs file that holds all the character files and those are pac files. It's goes like 00.pac-21.pac are the default wrestler outfits. Then it goes like 40.pac-61.pac are the secondary outfits for the wrestlers that are not selectable. What I'm want to do is switch the 40.pac with the 00.pac so that could be the default attire. I'm pretty sure I did that right though with afs explorer abd a different way with a hex editor. So how would I get the edited asf file back into the game?

    Just turn on the switch?
Have the cheat code that's easy...
BTW, the inside of the pac file many images were compressed

What do you mean turn the switch? I don't think theres a cheat code for what im trying to do. Yeah im sure they are but im not trying to alter nothing just do character switches from the same game. Im trying to make a secondary outfit the default outfit. The secondary outfits are different pac files.

Steve Austins attrie should be changed. He should be wearing a vest. I really appreciate you testing this.

    Ok works fine.

    Download GDIBuilder
    Download GD-ROM Explorer
Get your Copy of WWF Royal Rumble
Use GD-ROM Explorer to extract all the Track03 files & the IP.bin
Open GDIBuilder & select the extracted folder & extracted IP.bin
Select your output folder (I use desktop) & tick the Output raw sectors (2352 mode)
    Now click Create GD-ROM

now rename your original Track03.bin (backup) & put the new one in its place, done.
