If you'd been paying close enough attention, you would have realised I've been here the whole time. Back on topic; I hope we don't get a bunch of terrible gaf users here. Of course some of them are fine, but others are more stuck-up, snobbish, and extreme SJW-oriented than regulars on reddit and tumblr.

Yes, a number of threads over there will be missed, but the way dissenting opinions were handled and how elitist some gaffers considered themselves to be, the site had it coming.
Good riddance, it was turned into a sony defense force SJW echochamber, they got what they paid for. Ironic is how they are pretty much what they accuse the others, sexual predators, pedophiles, attackers and so goes on. This is not the first time Evilore was accused of sexual abuse.

I was wondering why it was down. I lurk because it still is a reasonable agrigate for news both gaming and non. Yes, yes i'll echo the same line of the site being full of fanboyish assholes. I my self am banned because nintendo fanboys and a mod flipped out when I question the style picked for FF3 on DS (I question why they tried for the cinematic feel with chibi characters as not a good fit for the power the DS had, which lead into people digging up my ign past and saying i was just a sony fanboy then I got a bit angry and said well obviously mod > ds dev and they banned me saying if I really was a programmer then I would know how <> work).
Well, I hope another forum can at some point offer a similarly fast and extensive gaming news coverage, but in the times of ever-growing social networks, chances appear rather slim. EDIT: Looks like a reboot of sorts has been established here: http://geonaf.com/index.php It remains to be seen if it will be a better place than the old gaf.
