Well, the site came back and, unsurprisingly, all and i mean ALL of the threads & FAQs were wipped out in 2 days. Well done damage control Evilord X'D Even though it came back, it's now a empty & hollow corpse...
Looks like the site is back now, but no way it's going to survive in its current state. Everyone's just being immature and spamming it.
#$*%! Well, we enjoyed the implosion while it lasted. I'll end commentating on this thread by saying screw Evilore & we wished NeoGAF stayed dead
Thank god it's back up. Nobody wanted the shitty cancerous NeoGAF community spilling out of their containment board and infecting the rest of the internet
Why the hell the majority of good leaks in recent memory have spewed from that vile place I'll never know? I had heard of it purely because of its nature for some members leaking Switch and Xbox insider info, but aside from that I knew nothing about it. Turns out it was a pretty big shitshow for that GamerGate thing a while back? It's full of cancerous SJWs and I really, really wished it stayed dead. It was weird, but in the small period of time it was down, it seemed like the entire industry breathed a sigh of relief. Hell, even Mike Ybarra (<-- Is that how you spell that dude's name haha?) was glad to see it burn to ashes. Seriously; fuck NeoGAF. I hope it never ever becomes relevant again and it fades away. There's a slim chance that might happen
Another likely reason that Ybarra was glad over NeoGaf fall is because the board lost it's status as press by the ESA and they couldn't go to the E3, Major Nelson offered them to go in as Microsoft Delegates and he refused and accused him of bribery, it was also this that reaffirmed the fact that it was Sony biased, and one of the prominent admins, Bish, was workind indirectly for Sony.
It seems that ResetEra is off to a good start already. 7.000+ members already in just a couple of days. In other news a lot of NeoGAFers have been banned for even the slightest negative comment. http://www.usgamer.net/articles/resetera-the-new-forum-founded-by-ex-neogaf-members-is-now-live
That doesn't surprise me. For the record, i planned to jump there but since it requires a paid e-mail, it killed my interest in 5 seconds. I plan to make something good on Twitter. I don't have any but i plan to make it special.
NeoGAF required non-free emails as well. Thats my one reason for not using the site. I dont need to dig up my ISP email to join a site I'll be banned on anyway/
How? Casual bans? I don't see anything about it that stands out as worse. Actually somewhat feels like it's got a bit more traffic than NeoGAF. Regardless I get a feeling NeoGAF isn't going anywhere.
