Yeah, I saw that 5th Gear Stunt Special. Downloaded it from UK-NOVA the same day it was aired. Pretty impressive and quite an interesting watch. I'm just waiting for the newest Wheeler Dealer to go up.

On the back of Wheeler Dealer with Mike Brewer, he used to do another show forget the name now with a Mike Rutherford, he is married to a girl in one of my other offices

 

The other show was Auto Trader (same as the mag I guess). I've never seen it but my dad used to talk about it.

That stunt is like suicide. Pretty amazing. Makes Clarkson's 18 wheeler through a brick wall look like nothing.

bollocks to Pirate Bay. You want full HD quality from UK_NOVA. I've seen a few of the Top Gear rips on the Pirate Bay and they never seem to be full resolution.

Might have to check out uk nova then. Is it a site or newsgroup? I always get the British rips since they air first,uncut and are in hd.

Makes watching them through the 360 even better. Sadly bbc america never broadcasts top gear in hd. I love this spot definitely can't wait for sunday!!!! That Mercedes looks exciting. Rally with a short person and in snow? This looks like it's going to be a great season!

Can't wait to watch the new series. As soon as i could access sunday 21st on my cable box EPG i set up a series link record so that i won't miss top gear even though i'll probably be watching it when its on and i could probably get it on iplayer but in case i miss it or its not on iplayer i'll record it anyway.

If this is true then i don't know whether to be excited or not about this becuase the main idea behind The Stig is that we don't really know who he is and if we find out then it will take all the mystery and excitement away from that.

Also even if one of the many theorys of who he is might have right all along its still quite nice to not actually officially know.

Top gear in HD? On what chanel is that on as i dont think its on BBC HD.

 

Only 3 and half hours to go. I can see if jezza does anounce the stigs idenity then i'd hope he'll start in the usual way they normally introduce the stig but adding more than two jokes about him then instead of saying "all we know is he's called the stig" they will say something "Know we that he's called....." and then anounce his name.

Most of the top gear episodes i get are from rapidshare sites and i'd say there round about Standard Def tv quality or maybe slightly less but they are more than watchable on a crt, lcd monitor/tv which a decent picture output.

Got on the winter olympic special on and even with the sound muted its still very funny.

I don't thunk Top Gear is/or has been on bbc HD although i'd assume its just the standard def picture recorded at HD resolutions like 1280x720/1024 or something but i could be totally wrong.

 

I heard that this new season is all in HD.

 

No idea i just turned the tv to check and its not on BBC HD tonght at least. I know some episodes have been on there like the polar special one.
