People shouldn't be helping eachother get content on a network they shouldn't be on.. If you didn't notice, that's why tons of devkits died..

Thats the way it should be, I agree. But you do not need a transfer cable, you can use neighborhood, or even homebrew apps to FTP to the console.

Disassemble with IDA using xorloser`s plugins. NOP the code that prevents button presses.

I only asked for the password as a joke, I'm not a warez kinda guy....there's two reasons I bought my devkit one was to test myself to see if I could fix it (I didn't know if I'd still have the dexterity after a nasty break in my right hand)and the second was to create a game I've wanted to play since I was a teenager but it was never made.

The reason Im getting the transfer cable is because I can't connect via the Ethernet cable to xbox neibourhood because I haven't been able to repair the Ethernet port, this thing has been designed to be impossible to remove from a donor board imo... And the FTP method works but I don't think I'm seeing all the directorys and/or there contents sooooo.....

...... If I connect via the transfer cable I can run it through boxplorer and make sure I'm seeing everything and also improve transfer times.

Throwing alternatives just because all the tools for the hdds are buggy as hell, if you can remove the hdd, put it on a jtag and ftp to it or buy the usb network adaptor (which is really fucking expensive.)

Why doesnt Microsoft modify Partnernet so that it gets sent the serial # of the devkit. Then, all legitimate dev kits owned by developers get allowed but if a dev kit is disposed of, that kit has to be reported to Microsoft so it can be blocked from Partnernet.

If all the devkits floating about cant connect to PN, more more leaks of pre-release software...

I didn't say you in specific. Infact I have no problem with what was done here. My point was just that yeah you can help others, but there's a line too lol.

But I don't wanna derail this thread, so yeah forget about it, as long as you kinda get what I'm saying lol.

Not all devkits are consumer waste ones. Some are stolen and some are received from developers who go under etc.

Ive got the wireless adaptor and I can ftp to it but I'm not sure I'm seeing everything... For instance the devkit folder has just some wma files in it and I can't access the hddx partition at all.

Ok, I just thought I was under some kinda attack lol.

    Understood though ;)

Probably because you have to put your own files in the devkit folder it's where you put games, homebrew, ect. Also your hddx partition probably hasn't been created.

Um content downloaded always goes into the same folder, hdd1, then content yadda yadda yadda folders. And it doesn't open because it doesn't exist. It's for Xbox 1 stuff.

DLC and Games On Demand can also be found in the content\0000000000\ folder.

I've got a game in mind, and IDA can't analyze this particular game without crashing. Even so, I'm not intelligent enough to know what disables button presses.

I know they use lead free solder but that has no bearing on the fact the port wast literally designed to break if anyone tampered with it.....the seven legs that come from the bottom are only clipped in place by tiny plastic clips, and what does plastic do when it gets warm boys and girls? Yes it gets supple and the legs just drop out.... And because the clips have got ruined it's impossible to put them back in place.
