Is there any reason why we can't update the "Development HW" page? I want to add a page for the XBOX 360 Debug console.

    I have no idea.

Either I must have accidentally added a password (which I doubt), or someone password protected it without telling us.

Is there a way, ASSEMbler, that you are still able to edit password protected docs?

I could understand locking individual pages with passwords, but why a page with a list of consoles. BTW, I found a few more different XBOX 360 units to add specs on. Perhaps Assembeler can un-password protect this? You can edit other topic pages just fine.

Small update on the PS2 HDD page. Added some homebrew games, and updated the homebrew appz versions.

    Deleted Wiki Entries

We have recently had an individual delete a couple of Wiki entries that some of us have put forth effort into. The good news is that there is an option in PMWiki to restore changes done on an article. There is no bad news.

Instead of this individual leaving behind an author name, they left it blank thus leaving behind their IP address.

Here is the IP address of the user:
    71.195.1.98

The following entries have been restored back to their previous states:
If anyone has any leads, they would greatly be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Would a mod be able to compare the IP to the site logs and find a member name?

just bumping in case someone might have overlooked this news...

edited: and i think i'll try to contribute again in my freetime soon...

Edited again: in the end was a proper place for uploading pictures decided? or we have to relieve on self hosting in our private web pages? (not that, that would be a problem for me, but still for others willingly to contribute could be)

3rd edit: i've been editing some wrong linkage on my old articles in the meanwhile

I don't think there is an official place to upload or will ever be. People should seriously resort to photobucket or imageshack instead of hot-linking images that would become dead in a few months. People should also "attempt" an entry instead of simply creating a new page with just a hyperlink.

One of the problems is that I don't think many people know it exists. It was asked to make a bar/link at the top of the forums to make the Wiki more known, but that was never done.

To be honest, I've basically stopped caring about this Wiki long ago.

i think that the wiki can be a great help to keep and create enthusiasm on these pages and forum, beside saving and organizing the knowledge lieing in this forum.

it's just that too many people forgot about it or even COMPLETELY overlooked it!

it WAS becaming, before people forgot about it :D actually i think the main problem is that there's no direct link TO it and that we doesn't have a portal...

i hope work will resume soon, and i'll try to make my part.. i have to finish the snes stub i created :p

another problem was that someone started to edit pages removing information and images =/

    btw. if anyone need anywhere to put images I could probably host some on my webspace. thought I don't know how much space I have ^_^;;

A few updates of my work
Added a few lines to the SNES page.
    Added the F-zero page
Added a page concerning Backward Compatibility.

If i'll have the time i'll soon add more to the SNES page and to mode-7 and other chip sections.

hope other people will start working again.

Worked on the 64DD and SN Systems pages, cleaned up the SNES page a bit.
Hopefully if this linked to directly from the forum index, we should see more contributions.
