Or at least me. By asking "what's wrong with you" it just ensures Nitnendo that instead of a 3DS I'll be getting a Vita

Welcome back to the Mortal World, Nintendo. It sucks, doesn't it?

Eh, I feel it was a pretty harmless bit of tongue in cheek humor. I wouldn't take it too seriously.

    This.

Also i'm surpised there isn't mass bitching about the PSVita prices.
250-300$ with a 20mb dl bandwidth cap on 3G model.

And it's not as if the PSVita will have more/better games than the 3DS at launch.
What makes the PSVita worth 250$ at launch that the 3DS didn't?
The fact you can check your facebook and twitter? OR that you will have to PAY for all the PSP games you already own physical copies of in order to be able to play them on it?

Vita isn't a rip off at $250 like 3DS was

Blame Cell Providers on that one. Not a HW limit.

Actually, Vita Launch Lineup >>> 3DS launch lineup

OLED Screen. Fuck ton better online setup then 3DS.

I think it's pretty smart of Nintendo to do this but at the same time, it seems a bit of a desperate measure. Nonetheless Regis is a great speaker can't blame them for trying to get closer to their customers, they need to.

A few reasons I'm picking the Vita over the 3ds

    1. No Region Locks
    2. Fighting games up the ass
    3. Shooters too? (Cave support)

Now they just need an external UMD drive and I'm set.

All of that is a matter of opinion. And sure OLED is the future of Televisions, it's not like the 3DS has a bad screen. Quite the contrary the 3DS has great screens, it comes with on-board memory AND a memory card which is sufficient enough to hold a lot of Downloadable games.

They are forcing you to pay for a Prop.Memory Card for the Vita. Making the price even more than a measly 250$. On top of that many launch titles REQUIRE a memory card in order to save your progress.

So you'll have to pop at least another 30+$ on that 250$ Base purchase.
And BCompatilibity is only limited to games you've bought on PSN and there are tons of PSP games that are not on the PSN.
3DS has thousands of games that you can already play on it off the bat.

And there is almost no way possible for sony to make something to allow you to play UMD's without it being a bulky stupid attachment or a converter that can be exploited by borrowing games from friends/renting.

I bet developers won't even be able to make use of the full 512MB of Ram onboard the system because a portion of it will be tied away from the OSfootprint.

The battery life is just as pathetic as the 3DS.

I'm not saying I don't want a Vita, because I do. But what it has to offer and the fact you WILL have to buy a memory card to save games/download games and it's backwards compatibility is limited at best is surprising not to have everyone bitching about it the same way everyone did about the 3DS.
Especially when games are going to cost up to 77 us$ at Japanese Launch

Yeah the Vita has it's problems too but over all it's a better deal than the 3DS. And I'm not saying the 3DS is crap but there's just so much more wrong with it.

Region locks, the way some games unlock things, Some games having permasaves all sorts of crap.

I am also willing to bet the PSVita will be cracked with in weeks of Launch and some sort of UMD Conversion will be possible through hacks.

I just can't get in to portable gaming. Never could. If I want to game I want to sit down and relax in front of a big screen. I can't play on a train or bus. I just feel strange. And besides, I drive pretty much everywhere. In fact, the only place I do handheld gaming in on the toilet! And before GaijinPunch says anything, no, I don't mean spanking the monkey :)

Id rather bask in the sound of my shit diving than read Kotaku.

I am pretty interested in both handhelds... but seeing as I haven't layed my hands on either of them yet, its hard to choose. Although I have been definitely leaning towards the Vita just due to how shit Nintendo games have been now.

Plus I miss Little Big Planet!

I knew I wasn't the only one that noticed that.

Shouldn't Nintendo commit seppuku by now? The 3DS Mario game might be decent. Then they have two N64 remakes on Star Fox and Zelda. But then again in general I've found most new games suck anyway.

Only 3DS game worth getting is Mario Kart 7.

If Nintendo wants to Save the 3DS do what what we've wanted all along. Smash Brothers Portable.

Why are so many people jumping on the VITAmin bandwagon, particularly considering Sony's recent bumbling ways concerning user's data security?
