If something screams "incoming redesign", it's an ugly, bulky add-on that adds what should've been built into the system in the first place. All the more reason to wait some more with buying a 3DS.

Nintendo has now shot themselves in the foot. Their hoped "momentum" for the holiday season will be stifled because now everyone and their mother knows a redesign is coming.

That's not real, right? It couldn't be at least a little bit smaller? Can't imagine anyone would actually buy an addon that makes your handheld a lot bulkier.
But hey, at least people who bought the first version get 10 free ancient ROMs they've probably already bought on at least one other system! :lol:

Monster Hunter games only work best with two analog sticks, it's just that.

As much as i like nintendo and the 3ds they really need to stop with all the redesigns and i think they know that now but i guess only time will tell.
On the brighter side of things if there is another redesign it will give me another handheld to take apart =D

Thats what i'm thinking as well, Monster Huneter add on that wil probably not get very much support.

Is this monster hunter even geting a NA release?

That looks ridiculous. Why couldn't they just make it a little cube that sticks out of the side? Why does it need to make the system bigger in every direction? I'm not gonna buy one unless there's a really good reason, software-wise.

 

And they make Game Gear games for it... coincidence?

Fatal Frame VR 3DS game! Yay Yay!

They're going to sell a shit ton of 3DSs in December with Monster Hunter coming out on the 10th. I think they'll probably be hard to get into the new year, much like the PSP was this year. pod job on N getting MH 3 and 4 for the 3DS. It almost assures its success in Japan.

...and no new hardware, unless pink is considered a hardware revision. I'd say the thing that interested me the most was Fatal Frame. I'll get one again just for that... but I wish they'd fix that damned 3 hour battery life ><
