First of all, is your SD card actually formatted "FAT32" and not something like NTFS?(I imagine it would be for a 2 GB one).
What region is your saturn, and what region is your Saturn Bomberman rip?
Did you rip the game yourself or are you using a download?

I would forget RMENU for a second, and stick to getting one game working. Remove all that other stuff and just have a "01" on the root of the SD card and stick one game in there.

As for your file structure when using RMENU should be..

    SD Root:
    01 > RMENU.exe, RMENU.iso, BIN (folder)
    02 > 1 game
    03 > 1 game
    04 > 1 game
    etc..
Phoebe.ini (!!!You will need this for auto region if playing an import!!)

Saturn is usa type 2, the game is usa region and was downloaded online. The sd card is formatted as fat, I tried fat32 also and it has same result. Is there a recommendation that you have as to what game to try first in case it is a problem with what I downloaded? I also enclosed a picture of the screen on the tv as to what I see with the sd card in and I don't get the typical sega saturn intro screen just a frozen saturn screen. I also just tried the 01 folder with the game in it but coming up with this result still.

The card SHOULD be formatted "FAT32" as per the website. I don't think you need to play around with any jumpers on the board (I didn't for my Rhea at least, US saturn as well)

It's odd there isn't a "disc drive empty" message or anything. Stupid question, but did you install the ribbon cable the right way?

Well, I would advise trying to rip your own disc if you have any. but if not...

There are tons of bad rips online for the saturn, you want to look for a "darkwater, TruRip, or redump" Infact, just google. "darkwater saturn bomberman" You'll find it immediately. These are typically in bin/cue

I have converted all the darkwater rips to .cdi (as well as my actual game discs) using Discjuggler 6. I mount the bin/cue (or whatever image. ccd etc..) into Daemon Tools Lite 4.46. Then rip to .cdi with the suggested options checked in discjuggler. as seen in this video:

I haven't tried any other programs like Alcohol 120% for example for any of the other supported formats.

Couple more things to keep in mind. Everytime you add a new game and folder, you will need to rerun Rmenu.exe to build the menu again.
If playing JP imports, make sure to setup auto region. Value should be "auto_region = 2" in the .ini

If you're using a Pro Action Replay 4 in 1 for RAM games like X-Men vs SF and RMENU. The boot process will be: power on to action replay menu, select play game, boots to RMENU, select RAM cart game, boots to action replay menu again, select play game again, game will load

For this convoluted reason above, I picked up an actual Sega brand 4meg cart. Since I don't need the 4 in 1 for imports anymore, this speeds up starting a RAM cart game from RMENU. A regular Sega brand memory card is now living in the cart slot the majority of the time.

Quoting myself in post #258 on page 13 of this thread:

    Code:

    Cards I've successfully used are:

128GB - PNY Elite Performance SDXC sdcard
32GB - PNY Turbo Performance SDHC sdcard
32GB - RiData Lightenng Series SDHC sdcard

SD must be formatted in FAT32. You can not use windows to format cards larger than 32GB. With anything >32GB windows only formats in exFAT.

A 3rd party program, FAT32format will format card >32GB as FAT32. There is a GUI version (guiformat) available here:http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm

Hi folks, I've updated the Linux script from AlejandroVM to include support for DiscJuggler .cdi images. It works on properly ripped images from Discjuggler (ie those ripped with subcodes etc.) with full disc title information (title, region, disc number, date etc). Those .cdi images that have been converted from bin/cue files tend to only have title and disc number available (so I use what is there). CloneCD and bin/cue support is still there from the original version of the script.

Other than that, I've added a few tests for the needed files and directory structure, as well as doing the building of the MENU.LIST file and writing the RMENU.ISO image in two passes, so that you can generate the list and edit it before creating the ISO.

Source code is up on Github, I hope that's okay with AlejandroVM.
