Hi. I tried the most recent TruRip version of Symphony of the Night on my Rhea today, and it had a problem. I started a new game, and it played through the intro video. After the screen went to black (2:44 in the video below), it froze and there was no sound or video, so I had to restart the system. Has anyone else encountered an issue with this game? (Please note that I didn’t make the video, I’m just using it to show you where it froze.) Thanks for your help.


UPDATE: I removed my backup memory cartridge, and cleaned the slot, which is very finicky. Now Symphony of the night seems to work correctly. No idea if the cartridge slot caused the problem or if it was just some weird glitch.

 

I have the same problem with my GDemu made by the same guy. It randomly crashed in a game the other day and some games will freeze. I use a 64 GB Samsung Micro SD. Do you think it being micro SD is why it gives problems?

Could be. Every sdcard I have put in works fine. Even a 128gb sdcard.

The 64GB microsd I used does not work consistently. Yet a 16gb microsd works fine all the time.

I'm just going to stick with sdcards. I'm organizing the trurip set by region and plan to put each region on it's own sdcard . If JP is over 128gb, I'll try a 256gb sdcard and see if that works.

 

Is there anyway to prevent the 4 in 1 automatically booting to the cheat menu while it's plugged in? Would like the memory and RAM functions without having to go through the Action Replay menu

 

I would love this as well. I ended up buying a 4MB Capcom cart just to stop seeing this at boot. Obviously that is not addressing save memory.

One thing I didn't realize is that pressing start at Rmenu will load the game directly instead of power cycling. At least that way you only see the Action Replay menu once instead of twice.

Just ordered a Phoebe, has anyone noticed any PSU temperature increase as with the GDEMU? i.e., do I need to be ordering another PicoPSU?

I was wondering if anyone can help me on what could be the problem with my phoebe not working. When I power on the saturn the phoebe light blinks like it should as stated on Deunans website. I have a 2gb pny sd card that I'm using. The Saturn intro does not load, instead it is the Sega freeze screen and then the disc menu comes up. It states it is checking format for about ten seconds then goes away and I can't do anything from there. I checked the rmenu.exe on the sd card on my computer and it reads the game I put on the sd card. I'm at a lost and the only thing I can think may be wrong is that my sd card may not be compatible as it seems the saturn and phoebe isn't reading it. Thanks and any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

What do you have exactly on your SD ?

This is a picture of the phoebe hooked up into the Sega saturn. (Type 2). The sd card I have set up with 01 having all the things in the links section on Deunans website (rmenu and the other files). Then I have 02 containing saturn bomberman which has the ccd, image and sub file. From the picture can anyone tell if it is installed correctly? Thanks and I really do appreciate the help and advice.
