Say, anyone have problems with the RMenu not working? I kept 01 folder empty except for the Rmenu files. Created 02, 03, 04, 05, etc for games. Run the EXE and it finds my games, creates the name list, and then creates the ISO. When I run the SD card in my Saturn it boots up to the Music player and says "Drive Empty". However I can push the Rhea button to change "discs" and each game works perfectly fine.

Windows 10 64bit and card is formatted to FAT32.
Thanks for any help in advance!

Maybe mounting de rmenu iso On your pc and checking it's content can help to debug?

Just got this in my inbox from Deunan for anyone interested...

I will be taking orders for next Phoebe batch soon, but it won't be big and whether or not it'll work with Type-4 Saturns is still up in the air - recent improvements are promising though. The production is scheduled for March as to not collide with current Rhea run.

All remaining GDEMU orders should ship next week. This means I can start thinking about next batch as well, April sounds like a good time for that so orders will probably open late March or so. I'll give you more details once these are actually known.

Hi. I just installed Rhea in my Japanese Saturn and I'm having some odd issues. All the games I've tried are from the TruRip set. I've tried five, and two of them don't work: It says "Cartridge unsuitable for this system." I had an official Japanese Memory Backup Cartridge inserted, so I turned off the system and removed it. Now the same two games say, "Game disc unsuitable for this system" instead. They're U.S. games (Clockwork Knight and Daytona USA), but Baku Baku (U.S.) works fine. I tried adding a Rhea.ini file to the root, with auto_region = 0, but I still get the same results. Can anyone help? Thanks.

EDIT: I've tried 16 games, and 11 of them don't work. However, all four Japanese (J) games I've tried work. All the ones that don't work are either (EU) or (U), with the exception of Baku Baku (U), which works. It seems likely that I'm doing something wrong with the Rhea.ini file. Since I have an unmodded Japanese system, what should be in the INI file? I put it in the root of the SD card, right? Thanks.

EDIT, AGAIN: Got it. The correct INI file fixed it. First I created the file on a Mac, but that didn't work. When I created it on a PC, it worked. Thanks.

There's a firmware update for Rhea. Will the menu still work with it?

Yes it does, relax. If not, you can always revert back to older FW anyway.

Reposting from the cue/bin thread. I spent the entirety of my weekend messing with this and just wanted to share.

The best experience I had converting cue/bin images was with UltraISO. You get to skip the whole mount/rip party and don't have to load DAEMON Tools which is questionable software at best. Or DiscJuggler which doesn't play nice with Windows 10.

It requires that you have a single cue+bin image for conversion (game.cue and game.bin). Fortunately the modern rips like Redump and Darkwater are formatted like this. Multi-track bin (track01.bin, track02.bin) files and wav/mp3 rips will not work.

Download UltraISO - the trial is fine for our purposes
    Click Tools/Convert
    Browse to your cue sheet
Choose CloneCD as the output format and click Convert
When complete delete the cue/bin from the source directory
Copy the .ccd/.img/.sub file to SD

If you have a game that you can't find in a non-goofy format, burn it using ImgBurn and rip it in UltraISO via Tools, Make CD/DVD Image.

I also had a fine experience burning images with ImgBurn and ripping via CloneCD with the default settings. UltraISO is significantly easier.

Thanks for sharing this info. However, I have found the Daemon tools image mounting and Discjuggler cdi converts a breeze. As long as you stick with DT versions V4.xx and DJ v6 (I'm on win7 64bit) it works fine.

I have converted over 100 cdi's doing this flawlessly. If win 10 is an issue for DJ, try using a VM of Xp or Win 7.

I use a Xp VM for older software that does not run on native win 7.

Yeah don't get me wrong. I don't mean to imply this is somehow "better" technically than the Discjuggler method. Just that I found it a good deal easier. I've done about 40 conversions at this point.

I've had my Rhea for a while. My GDemu came in today so I decided to install them both. I can't seem to get any Rhea images to launch. I've tried multiple files from various sources. I'm using DT 4.46xxxx and DJ V6 to conver bin/cue files to cdi. I've checked the 4 boxes that are recommended. My saturn just says checking disc format and never does anything. I've tried 3 different SD cards. 2 sandisk and one toshiba. can anyone confirm a working SD card make and model? is there something else i could try?

Double check the ribbon cable is installed properly and use the one provided and not the original one. Also flash the latest fw, making sure the led blinks in the correct order.

Use good quality rips like Darkwater, Redump, etc, and avoid mp3 converted crap.

Kingston SD's work fine in my Rhea and Gdemu. Use a proper Fat32 formatter with a 64k cluster size.

This. You probably don't have the ribbon cable pushed in far enough.

I replaced my AR cart with a Capcom 4mb cart yesterday. It seems less clunky. I dont have to power cycle anymore to load ram games. Maybe I just missed it but I didn't realize that pressing start on Rmenu loads the game directly while ABC does a full power cycle before loading.
