hey where the fuck is Denmark ???
:-( :angry that be should be in that top10 list
    :angry

and Denmark is a country (in Scandinavia like Sweden and Norway)

and maybe it is because in the schhols many of the "new" danes(57 % or some shit like that) when they graduate cant read or write or for that matter speak :-( and they threaten all others with violence if they don´t at least get a 6(passed and nothing more) without even speaking the language of Denmark Danish.

    and that is sad :-(

We've proven we know nothing about the US by going against a bunch of ridiculous claims based on ignorance?

It's quite obvious that whenever someone pulls the Patriot Act out, they know about two shits worth of what life is actually like in the US.

As for pollution, it isn't more polluted than any other place I've been, honestly.

I'm not going to get into another one of these.

    It's a good read, though :smt023 .

Well, as far as communications skills go you really need some work as well, For example:

i'm should be I'm. i should be I. Again, i should be I. i'm should be I'm. Smart, intelligent = redundant. Has should be have.

I could get very critical at this point, and if poor communication makes you a dumb ass...

What I am trying to say is it does not take a great speaker to make a great leader.

BTW, you're just an ass with a computer.

Oh, and I've got news for some non US people here: Kerry sucked big fat goat penis as a canidate. Which the media actually admitted after the election--unfortunately, before then, they had done their best trying to con us into thinking Kerry was a good canidate.

Only where there are nuclear spills. :) While the air isn't the freshest in the world, for the amount of "stuff" in the cities, it's not that bad. Still pretty crappy, but you get used to it.

The only comment I have on any of the above is that fucking Patriot Act, and our civil liberties. I mentioned this before. When I went to Japan, I was poor. I had about $3000 I had saved up to make the move, which I quickly spent on food and rent. After 7 years and many promotions, I now have a savings. When I tried to open up a account at Fidelity, I was turned down. A fucking BANK ACCOUNT people. The guy was like, "bad credit is better than no credit. If you have no credit the last X amount of years, you're fucked." Yeah... lots of freedoms there. Now I'm a resident again, and still having problems finding places to invest my money.

You did miss that headline? Damn, it was the talk of everyone over here. Actually there was a bit more of that headline that you missed:

Kerry sucks big fat goat penis, it's official, we were just pretending he was better than Bush! But hey, we suck big fat goat penis too so he still rocks!

Please enlighten me on this lifestyle I'm participating in. You NEED to elaborate. Also, you still haven't said where you live. Do you live in a so-called third world country?

Damn guys, don't get so bent out of shape. So some people take a little bit of joy out of pointing out the flaws in our country. So what? It is true that this is a great place to live.

But, it is also true that it could be a whole lot better.

As far as I can tell from talking to forgien activists, most people could give two shits about how we live in the United States, and most of what pisses them off seems to be our forgien policy, which usually consists of either:

    A) Manipulating forgien markets and economies to the benefit of American corporations like:

    NAFTA
The Free Trade Agreement of the Americas,
    the WTO
86ing international treaties like Kyoto, the Anti Ballistic Missile treaty (ABM,) refusal to join the World Court, etc

    B) Using our military and intelligence institutions to further our dominance and/or American Business interests, for example:

American backed coup de tats in Argentina, Greece, Iran, South Vietnam, Haiti, etc.

Supporting repressive governments in Columbia, Nicuragua, El Salvador, the Phillipines, and even the Taliban (pre-911 of course.)

"Mopping up" former CIA assests who go later turn against us, like
Manuel Noriega, Saddam Hussain, and yes, even Ossama Bin Lauden (let's not forget he was our boy against the Soviets.)

And then, when all else fails, straight bombing the shit out of countries who don't fall in line, like say:

    Lybia
    Panama
    Afganistan
    and of course Iraq.

When was the last time we actually fought a "just war?" By that I mean a war that was fought to prevent genocide or massive human suffering? Like WWII, a war where our interests weren't about money or territory?

    Vietnam? Nope.

    Gulf War I? Nope.

Panama? Who owns the Panama canal now? Sorry.

    Korea? Nope.

The closest thing that qualifies was the war agaisnt Malosovic in to prevent ethnic cleansing in the former Chec republic (which is today Serbia, Mogrovia, etc. Hope I'm spelling all this right) and the military action in Rowanda (which was dramatized in that movie "Black Hawk Down.")

I might also add that those two actions weren't offical "wars" but were UN police actions, and that they were very unpopular with the republicans back home. God fobid they should want to use our military to like, help somebody.

Now, one thing you have to remember about all this (and I cannot stress this point enough, so I am going to write it all in caps like a noob) is this:

THE IMPLICATIONS OF THESE ACTIONS ARE LARGELY INVISIBLE TO THE PEOPLE BACK HOME.

We don't see the bodies getting blown apart or the cities being burned to the ground. We don't see the people working in factories for slave wages, we don't see our money going to buy guns for one side and drugs from the other, then both sides killing each other while we laugh all the way to the bank (refrence to the Iran-Contra scandal BTW.)

What we see on the news is Janet Jackson's tit hanging out or some stupid ass car chase. Then it's time for sports and the weather, then the news is over. Real life goes on without us.

So Einbebop44, Alien, Ryangassxx, and others: I am not telling you not to love your country. I'm telling you that what the others have to say does have some basis in reality, and that they aren't "jealous" about how we live. They want our country to stop fucking with them.

The most patriotic act you can do is to look at your country and it's leaders with a hint of criticism. Becasue it doesn't matter who is in the White House, chances are he's a lying thief who got there by sucking up to some and backstabbing the rest.

Just remember the #1 rule about governments: They are all liars.

And, to conclude my sermon on the mount, remember your government is not your country. They are just the clowns with the power. They are there for you to tell them what to do. If nobody tells them what to do, they start getting the idea that they're important people. We need to remind them that they are still clowns.
