I just need to know. Was this flea market in France? I went to one this morning, all I found games wise was a big pile of Videopac games at 50 centimes each. Basically just a loada crap. I've personally given up on flea markets. Too many people are in the know these days. Too many educated collectors/traders/gamers etc. Long gone are the glory days of ignorant plebs selling you gold for pennies.
The label underneath the console features the Underwriters Laboratories mark and a statement about FCC compliance - and more obviously it says 120V 60Hz - so it's most certainly a model designed for the US market at least. Also, the OP used the term "flea market", so he's most definately from somewhere in the Americas. Great find, BTW! :smt023
We have a Flea market [here] every Tuesday though so the America argument doesn't hold up That and the fact the IP puts it in North Carolina, USA is irrefutable though Man if I wasn't dealing with a piss poor financial state (which wasn't helped any with my motorbike being stolen) I'd have offered you £1k for it - saying that though I guess I'm in debt anyway, so I may as well put in an offer and dig myself deeper into debt haha
Yep, I'm in North Carolina, USA. But good luck finding this place. Very few people in the know around here. Just a bunch of rednecks.
changing plans from holiday in the dominicanian republic to north carolina usa... guys we have 4 weeks lets swarm the area
That nifty bike I saw pictures of? Damn, that sucks dude. Im sorry to hear that. Back on topic, how in the heck would such a system end up where it did?
Because it was in Forest City where some developers did work which 3DO published - chances are they got an m2 to work with and after it was canned an employee took it home, after years put it in a loft then their mum cleaned out the loft and sold it (or maybe something like that, but it's only a fairytale )
Maybe I'm bouncing my ip off of some poor little companies proxy server. LOL I can expect to see all of you there at 6:00am when the place opens then huh. Now that Legit figured out where it is. I'm the only one who knows what the people look like though
Yep, mods can view any posters ip (assuming this board works like some of the ones i've been admin/moderator at before, it appears in their posts).
Oh, yes, but can you tap? ... Now, in a note actually related to the topic, who was that french fellow who needed an English translation about the FZ-35? I recall having helped him there and learning about some stuff regarding that thing on the pic up here. That machine is similar to your great find, right? I'm sure he'll be VERY interested in this topic. I think (ASSEMbler or someone else at the forum) does have some software for this thing, does he not? You know, like the one for the Japanese vending machines and the Russian ATMs, or something. How much is this machine worth, would anyone dare to estimate?
He said he dint want anyone to know where he was just yet... so why are you doing ip searches and posting it on the forum? That sends a bad message to people who dont wish to give details out.
Yeah, that wasn't the most legitimate or respectful use of mod powers... I thought the IP lookup ability was only supposed to be for investigating problems and helpful things like that.
