Permanently quit deathmatch?

Counter Strike Source was the last FPS I seriously played online. I still occasionally play Quake 3 though. I just can't seem to get into newer games as much anymore.

 

You mean free for all style death match? I don't care for free for alls much. CoD Black Ops spices it up enough with Wager Matches though to make it more interesting.

 

I never liked deathmatch tbh. But if you are saying FPS in general. I still play CS:S. Though for some reason its getting boring and I am moving back to MMORPGs.

 

Always kinda hated FPS games, and always sucked at any deathmatch games, except I was OK for that brief period I played Halo 3, I guess. However, recently I've found co-op modes FPS or 3rd person games, like Escalation in War for Cybertron, to actually be fun, way more so than any deathmatch game I've ever played.

 

The last time i played proper Deathmatch was on Quake3. I probably played recent games with deathmatch option, but none were as addicting as Q3.

Anyway, on Team Deathmatch i play Day of Defeat Source and Killzone 2.

 

Im ok at them, just a serious lack of time, so when I do play, i do so so, but fps's are really one of my favorite genres though so, i think it is each to his/her's own personal prefrence

 

I used to play CS:S for hours on end, sometimes as long as 8-10 hours in one sitting. I load it up these days and find 20 minutes annoying. I think it's an age thing.

 

AWP is the reason I play CSS still.

 

This is probably one of the reasons I don't play today.

 

I don't play free-for-all deathmatches simple because I like to play more than 4 secs without getting killed lol.....I do team deathmatches every couple of weeks when times permits.

 

There are servers with AWP banned, which makes the game way better. Also, they updated CS:S quite a bit recently.

 

I play DM on games that actually require skill. Call of Duty is just so fluky. On my first ever try at 4 I got a 30-3 ratio. Real balanced.

 

i still play FPS games alot but have also not played Free for All deathmatch nearly as much.

 

...I still Deathmatch at least once a day, though prefer Domination tbh.

 

Ill play Halo deathmatch once in a blue moon, but if I play online its typically team based, or coop. But even that is rare. Single player is my preferred choice.

 

the only way to snipe in CSS is a Scout

Used to play CSS all day long but for some reason I m not playing anymore...

 

I gave up on CSS after 2 clans I was in broke up because most started playing WoW . I did enjoy a match in Quake 3 last night at 5 am. Both of us were so tired our 1v1 on dm17 lasted 32 minutes...

 

I play CS:S and BF 2142 occasionally. That's about it.
