you are right.for 100 years everything was different.today all here is safety and the machines are making the work.more or less.In the past, coal miners go to work with a hatchet to abolish the coal, today this work makes big barells!for the miners who works there its much easier!

Same in the UK closing Mines because of cheap imports (with a higher sulphur content). Thing is with carbon capture coal burning is almost equal to burning Gas. Seeming Germany wants to get rid of all Atomkraft. Theres one decommissioned plant here in Stade. Thing is Germany needs cheap power for industry. When Stade closed the Alu plant next door shut soon after.

The politicians say that the german coal cost to much. The result is that till the end of the year 2018 all mines in germany are closed.Today only 5 mines are open :noooo:

The party that's currently in power (and likely to be re-elected on the 27th of Sep.) doesn't.

Those last pictures reminded me of Silent Hill.

About Nuclear energy, my father is working on the construction here in Argentina of the nuclear plant Atucha 2, and he told that nuclear energy is really clean, and the main thing you need is somewhere to place the residues AND a way to transport them.
He also told me that Siemens (a german company) is having a mayor role in the construction of the reactor that is going to be used in Atucha 2, and that the best people that work with nuclear energy are the germans.

Hmm the only reason why I am against nuclear energy , is the radioactive side of things, not the clean side of it. Or are you saying, that the enemy is the nuclear power ? Cause then I can think many alternative things to a coal mine, but you could still use the awesome HIGHTECH German coal power plants as the burning plants. Such as animal waste (from septic tanks) times two, cause there is the biogas in the dung , and also. Then when the gas has been burned, then we just have the normal waste. And there we can burn the crap, and if there is anything left afterwards. We could perhaps make active coal to clean up some water different places. Okay maybe I am babbling a bit, but hey I am not against the clean side of nuclear power. I am ONLY against the radioactive part of it.

you must know that the proplems came from the politicians, and not from the peoaple..if politicians say, atomic energy is bad, most of the people think its true and they are agains those form of energy.......

Nuclear power plants are a nice thing as long as there are no accidents. And such events are very rare regarding how many plants there are on earth, working flawlessly for decades.

Still, I am against this source of energy because it's not all about safety. There's radioactive waste. Within not more than about 40yrs, we achieved to stuff our earth with tons of highly dangerous radioactive material that will last for thousands of years - great clean energy I must say! Nuclear power may be not only "safe" but also "clean" if only one had a solution for the waste problem. But nobody has and I strictly refuse to regard "LETS SHOVEL DIRT ON IT SO WE DONT SEE IT ANYMORE LOL" as a brilliant solution.

And instead of focussing on H-motorized cars or fuel cells, companies presented us nice "electro cars" on this year's IAA. Maybe I got it all wrong, but those cars need electricity, right? Nuclear energy? Where's the fucking progress then? Instead of slowly taking responsibilty for the pollution we caused we are now invited to invest into another pollution-causing energy source, the worst of them all actually.

I assume everyone here has seen the Simpsons episode where Homer stuffes all the garbage under the city of Springfield?

ave: I totally agree with you, and what about the Danish eco meeting in December ? that will probably be the biggest meet and greet of the biggest cunts ever ! basically There will probably not be any Denmark in fifty years, if we do not do anything now. But then again I think it is already too late.

Okay, what I get is this. You are either wishing each other bad luck, or you are saying in another way. In German to be exact "fuck off" or you mean. The gloves are off, and I know zurück means back. Or shall I begin speaking in Danish ? Cause I have done that before.

Okay people, I asked a German female friend I have. And I understand Glück Auf is not something bad. I know the expression now, and it is another way of saying good luck.

Thanks mate, it is like when Fishermen in Denmark has an expression which says "knæk og bræk" which means go to the rail and puke your guts out. I have just heard the German expression is "petri heil"
