Playstation 3 availabilty

As Tachikoma said, though something I noticed is that the RSS feed seems to take the news from America on my NTSC/U console when I connect to my EU PSN account.

 

The only thing really missing is PS2 compatibiliy. The media card reader and SACD is something less than 1% of users would ever make use of (yes I pulled that out of my ass). The USB ports can use a hub. 40GB HDD is not great, but neither is 80GB. So in the end it is not really any big loss.

I was curious as I was wanting to play online with friends back home (although the time difference would be a factor) a bit.

However, I want access to Japan's PS Store, I still don't have a demo for Yakuza 3 available...I want to play it really really bad!

 

Oh yeah my RSS feed was in Japanese as well. I turned it off as I couldn't change it to something I was interested in. I would rather a BBC news feed or something rather than Sony propaganda.

 

Haha! I know what you mean. I hate the RSS feed on the PS3, it never has anything relevant in it that you can't already find online weeks before.

 

The simple way that Sony could give themselves an massive advantage over the Wii and Xbox 360 is to translate Mainichi Issho to English, as the news and games are fantastic and one thing it does allow is RSS streams to be added and they will appear randomly as you watch Toro chan do his daily business.
