In order to make our group efforts easier, encourage outreach and cooperation, I am going to ask everyone to add an instant messenger to their profile. ( any instant messenging will do) I use "pidgin" http://www.pidgin.im/ It allows use of all im types, without an annoying trillian style interface. If you don't want to use a primary IM, consider using a site specific one via yahoo or similar. If you feel uncomfortable posting any im info, I understand. ASSEMbler
I only have MSN messenger - the more popular of the three really. I am surprised you've only got AIM Kev. Maybe it's time for msn?
I saw that lots of people had AIM accounts here, so I downloaded Pidgin (great prog BTW) and made an AIM account to check what was it about. Anyway I still prefeer MSN (I'm really used to it) but feel free to add me to any of both accounts.
Is there any software that support multiple MSN clients? I don't want to make my mail public (mainly for spam reasons), so I'll have to create a secondary MSN.
I only use MSN, and it's already on my profile. Sometimes i'm online on it, under linux, through pidgin.
AIM: adam.007r@gmail.com@aol.com YIM: adam007r@yahoo.com I don't like to have it out in the open, I have many enemies who would love nothing more then to fill it with crap.
Already added.... For the record... AIM is the most popular IM service in the world. It seems like MSN is much more popular outside the US though. I always find it funny how one set finds it infathomable that somebody uses the other. I for one use AIM, as I don't know a single person who regularly uses MSN.
I don't use any because once it's on you never get a minute to yourself. I do have Skype mind you that I use to talk to my parents in the UK. It's only on at set times though so would it be worth putting that down? Yakumo
It all seems to be regional. In the UK and Canada, all MSN, no one has AIM. In Canada we have Facebook, while the UK uses mostly Myspace. Anyways, I'm on MSN: djcrazymonkey-at-gmail.com
