ehy ehy ehy! come on dudes. Actually i've been quite surprised to see some people here, but since they were choosen by kev, since there was no real dangerous info leak and people were good in donating, i have no more doubts. GarethDE, don't take it personally. This all is new for everybody and we want it to live and go on as long as possible. IMO if you're here you're worth of it. still no matter to be arguing. karsten
You really think it exsists? I mean all they ever had was this one screen http://xoomer.alice.it/mononline/unseen/snesmd/zelda2bsx.htm Plus, its hard to tell what in the world that picture is of. Was anyone able to translate the picture? Anyways, I'm skeptical about it being real, due to next to no info about it. But, of course as a Zelda nut I'd also kill to play this. Me personally I really really think its about time Bound High! was released, it seems to be a game that while rare is definitely obtainable. As I know a few of the members on here have either played the game or own a copy. In fact, one site has a review about it. http://www.vr32.de/modules/games/index.php?type=unreleased&sec=main&id=1
if you played zelda 2 you can easily say that it's a game screenshot of that game. maybe no big work was made on it, but who knows?
To continue the OT: The text on the bottom says that this game has Kanji output and you can see that in the screenshot (the screen text itself of course is illegible). So - if this is real - at least Nintendo redid the in-game text and made use of the higher resolution to display the more complex characters instead of just Kana.
A lot of these "new members" gave a shitload more than "established" users who gave nothing. I welcome all of the new people here, that is why they were invited.
Is this forum even public, or not? I saw it appearing recently. I think I've donated in the past, not sure if I got me access granted to the forum. Anyway, just to let you know, I had no idea the forum was private before reading this topic.
Sticky read, and understood. Meaning I need to shut up when it comes what we are talking about in here just like in Depeche Mode trading circles
I think (having seen some of the arguements above) that we need to remember that we are all here because we feel the passion and love for gaming. We recognize and value game craftsmanship, the obscure past, the lost, and prevent them from being lost forever. At least that's how I see it. However, we also value participation and community equally as high. We set a high bar. I think polite prodding is the best way to do things, that or not to respond at all. The silence of the members would say it all. We've discussed this many times before; if we are to continue we must teach, not flame. anyway, my coffee is done....
Yep. I agree in totality. We need to prevent the loss of these wonderful Gems. Betas/Alphas/Unreleased items, etc. Delving into the creators ideas and thoughts is an awesome experience. oh, and enjoy your coffee.
I just wanna say that I'm really happy and flattered to had been invited here (and still wonder by who and why). About poeple leaking things/infos, I think we should not instantly ban them from here but rather give them ONE chance, one time can be a error, but a second time, after you've been warned, it's simply bad meanings. By the way, I got no protos/beta or anything related to dev. beside a blank gd-r but I'm always willing to help people ripping stuff and donating a little. And even if I'm fairly "new" here, I can understand madhatter256's point of view, even if I don't share it, but I swear that many new member here can help and be useful here, even if they don't all already proved they are trust-worthy, allowing them here is a good way to see if they are btw. It was my 2 penny. Thank you very much ! -=FamilyGuy=-
So, is this area still hidden with the board move (contrary to Kevin's "It's all visible" comment in the invite a friend thread)?
