So does it have the extra rooms found in the debug ROM?

Room 120 not working is expected as it's in an old format that doesn't work unless modified.

It looks like this is just the Debug ROM, except it's not MQ.

I'm surprised people had or even still have doubts.

Doesnt it have the GCN colored buttons? Steven78 how well can you analyze the ROM? There are people who are well versed with this game's internals.

someone is working on it, but no new stuff is found in it.

he checked the overdump, and its the same as the MM overdump. And IF someone would have faked this it would have taking insanly much time, and he had to change every file in the game. and at the end its not possible and its a uniq build

not very tech but das this make sens?

its going to be send for a last check to a old memeber of the crew back then.

That is a bit confusing. So it isn't the MM overdump, correct?
Did they dump and decompress all the files and do diffs against the extracted files from other ROM versions? Every file shouldn't be different unless a slightly different compression algo was used, and I'm not certain if all the uncompressable files differ from each other across all versions. There's nothing preventing somebody from recompressing the debug version, for instance, which would post a different MD5 but be proven identical using a data dump comparison.

May I ask, when was the build compiled?

Also out of curiosity, what is the overdump?

Hey, steven78, I can't find the ROM ANYWHERE. Because of forum rules, what do I have to google in order to successfully find the rom? Or is that also against the rules? (I know you are not allowed to ask for download links, but I am not sure about asking for best google search) Anyways, my youtube account is origonal hexatendo (yes, I know, the spelling is surprisingly intended!) I have commented on your channel

Wait a minute, steven, are you saying it is not released to the public YET? If so, I'll wait. I think it is understandable to get the prototype tested first.

Well, people can be a little bit apprehensive about releasing prototypes. I'd love to get my hands on this and rip it apart but I can wait.

In other news, how is that video coming?

Does anyone know if steven is still having people test the ocarina of time debug cart? I would love to test to see if it works on an Everdrive 64 (yes, I have one) (probably should). I have some expirience with prototypes, and I would gladly compare ocarina of time debug with master quest debug.

The last thing i heard about Steven is that he got Banned on a forum. He also insulted some people and there were some other things going on.
I don't know if that got him into trouble . Anyway about the Zelda proto.

I am disappointed the proto was about 99% the same as the dumped version.
When i found out about the proto i was like : Fuck yeah
But it seems this is more for the super nerdy (no pun intended)finding the very few differences.

This proto also showed that assemblergames.com is the best source on the internet when it comes down to prototypes.
Many members that know what they are talking about. It almost becomes a commercial for the site.
The seller on the other hand did everything wrong.

Could you link us to the place where it was announced to be practically the same as the public debug?

you are so full of *, not banned anywhere ever.

i had some time off, and some other stuff is poped up.

i had not one but 2 zelda oot proto's from the same lot i bought it, the are checked and pretty much the same as the are. the first cart is gone btw, deep in a collectors collection.

the second cart is dumped to and it seems it has more on it then the other one, some how it whas a part of concker bad fur a day behind it (dumped by nesworld again).

and got the conformation from one of the guys that worked on this back then, he is a member here. and these cart are not specialy made for this project the already got used before that.

    edit: some spelling

    there isnt,
