You'll find it quite frustrating in the beginning... I remember playing some of the levels 20-30 times before I'd get it... towards the last half it got quite fun though.


As with probably a good handful of forum members, I picked up GTA IV today, though I haven't had the chance to play it yet.

Namco Ridge Racer sit on arcade cabinet

Finally, a deal that worked out! I've acquired a very cheap Namco Ridge Racer sit on arcade unit. Due to it's sheer size I've had to clear out part of the garage and await the delivery next week. I had the offer of 2 units, but went for the broken one. Two reasons. It looked in far better condition externally. Was complete and the internals looked in pretty good shape. Issue. Apparently the monitor doesn't come on. Had I gone for the working unit, it looked like a rats ass and was double the price!

I weighed it up and thought if it's just a screen issue (as you can hear the game running in the background) then it shouldn't be THAT difficult. Famous last words.

Images when delivered. Until then, here is a similar cab I found online, but minus the seat. This owner has it, but images are not as good.

 

Felt weird not being able to buy GTA IV, definatley need a 360 soon as i was very tempted to want to buy the game even though i've no system to play it on but it would be kinda stupid although me want the game more.

Tried the 1st leve of odama 5-6 times just to get the hang of things but overall it should be a good game if i stick at it.

I should demand a visit but busy this week and most of next through in livingston almost all day (not of my own choice) so a visit would be nice after that. Should make up an excuse to try an get a tour of the place and maybe some free swag as well but doubt that'll happen

just to be on topic Forgot to mention i orderd a GC memory unit (Official standard 59 if i remeber correctly) and some cheap DC games (non exciting sports games)the other day.

 

Got 2 games today

Starfox Adventures on the gamecube and trackmania united for the PC

 

Bought some GC games for $5... Rainbow Six Lockdown, Def Jam Vendetta and Space Raiders. Just trying to complete the collection Space Raiders was an interesting find though, because I don't think it was even distributed to Canada.

Also got Futurama for Xbox.

 

Well appears to have been quiet here for a for while.........so here are are few things I have picked up over the past few weeks




And to be really sad while playing, but does go with the Mario collection!!
