    OLPC XO

    Somewhat OT. but WTH:

Well designed for it's purpose. Was planning to give it to a young relative, but it's screens ability to remain readable in sunshine combined with a relatively drink-safe keyboard means I'll probably keep it over the summer at least...

Too bad Macs aren't based on Power PC anymore would have made ports to Mac slightly easier since Cell is a based on Power PC architecture.

Still MGS4 looks really neat, can't wait to try it!!!

Well done! I've had a few of those. Not many for free, but plenty unregistered and then simply sent back to MS.

Directly from the OLPC foundations give 1 to get 1 program. Ie, I payed for two, one hopefully goes to some child somewhere, and I get one o play with myself.

Cost me about £195 I think.

Got my XRGB2- Plus the other day.

And today I managed to pick up RGB 21 pin cables for the Saturn and Super Famicom. These things are not easy to find unlike in PAL land (you lucky sods!)

So I hooked up my Saturn to the XRGB2 then connected that to my Mitsubishi TFT. Looks great! Still not as great as a true RGB CRT but far better than S-Video on my HD CRT TV.

Low resolution in action. Check out those cool scan lines

And high resolution in action thanks to Dead or Alive.

That sure looks fantastic! I wish I could spent so much money on equipment like that... but this would not allow my collecting passion to go on for quite a while :(

It wasn't that expensive to be honest. Under 70 Euro after shipping and all that. It is missing it's remote control though :( But that's ok because everything is accessible from the buttons on the unit.

This one is on 88 Euro and still running for another 3 days. I guess it'll end at 200 or something :(
I don't give too much on picture quality (yeah, I know heheh), but it would be too nice to play Saturn games on a screen with scanlines. Where did you get yours from? YJ?

Get me Afro Samurai and Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection
Must be honest abut the MGS collection I expected it to be more like the Japanese collection though this do explain the cheap price (I mean it even only includes disc1 of MGS3: Subsistence!)

Also get me a box containing six boxed DC controllers.

Yeah, playing the Saturn in HD is pretty turd unless it's a high resolution game you're playing.

I bought mine from Yahoo Auctions. At the time there were 3 up. One XRGB2 like GaijinPunch has, One XRGB2 Plus which I bought, and one XRGB 3 which was way too expensive.
