1/8th scale model, saw it in a box today in another hobby off, the box is huge but a lot of it is empty space. This one was 10500 yen, although I have a feeling it will get cheaper.

Couple of buys in the last two weeks. Mostly adult mahjong games, one yawn city Koei Japanese historic strategy game and Nedesico all for the Saturn. Oh, and something on the Wii about disasters. Pretty good as well as long as you put up with the slow first 2 levels.

My Xbox 360 Arcade finally arrived last week. I currently enjoy Blue Dragon (was only 250 Yen), Ridge Racer 6 and Raiden IV.

Yeh, 1/8th scale. I love it. I'd pay 10500 for it - it's amazing. My only model too.

Wow such wisdom, so if you don't have a kid & are buying for yourself it means that your a pedophile?

Any other pearls of wisdom you wish to share with the people on here. I mean we should give you a unique posting rank of forum god or something with such amazing wisdom LOL

Hmm maybe i bought it because gasp errr it's actually a fun music game, then again i actually have actually passed puberty & not a insecure kid who is terrified to play something different like this in case his friends laugh at him.

It wasn't a very good joke to be honest. I didn't read it as a joke at all. Oh, and yes, that is actually a good music game even if it is a bit on the girly side. I had a go on it and found it to be fun.

@Importaku - I actually finished Disaster day of Crisis yesterday. It's got 23 levels so it will last a while. Graphically some parts are very impressive while others are just average. Over all though it was a very enjoyable game. I've got to go though it again now to unlock the many extras. I'd say it's worth you picking it up to be honest. The story alone is better than most action movies these days.

My next Wii games will be the JoySound Karaoke software from Hudson, Tenchu 4 and that flight one by namco/Bandai based on the anime. can't remember the name right now.

I hope they bring disaster to the U.S. Word is though they aren't going to announce a U.S. date until after they see how it does in europe.

What's exactly the gameplay? Escaping a catastrophe site? I already own Irem's Zettai Zetsumei Toshi and thought it was quite a nice game though some patience was needed to have fun with it. Is Disaster different regarding that aspect (trial&error)?

I have no idea what Zettai Zetsumei Toshi is so I can't really compare the two. In Disaster you basically have to get from point A to B. Within this area you'll also come across obstacles depending on the disaster. Many sections are Time Crisis style gun levels which are really cool, especially the later ones. Then you have the exploration sections as in pretty much any 3D games these days along with some platform action. Along your travels you also have to keep an eye open for injured people. Some need to be saved to gain items while others are just there to boost your main characters abilities.

There really is a lot to do. Game types include:

Driving (The 1st section is turd but after that things heat up:nod: )
    Exploration
Time Crisis Style shooting areas (load of these)
    Platforming
    very mild puzzle elements
Running (Use the Wii remote and numchuck in you hands as if you were really running for your life).

Saving people can range from dressing wounds to full on heart massage by pushing down on the Wii remote.

There's a lot to the game but the first few levels were pretty drab I felt after the cool opening. Luckily there's over 20 levels so you don't really mind that much about the first few drab ones.

A couple of more goodies arrived in the last few days including the famous Mega Drive Super Mario World 64, the total turd Super Mario Bros and another Sonic Jam 6. Also picked up Forgotten Worlds. I've never played this classic so I'm hoping it's going to be good. For Saturn there's a factory sealed copy EVE The Lost One Promotion disc, a nice Hudson sample disc, Langrisser III alternative cover and some football training crap. Oh, also got the Space Channel 5 MilCD for 400 yen :D

It's a link system. Player 2 uses another cab linked to this one. This is the way 2 player arcade games should be. I hate having to share a panel with another player. You either end up being pushed over or elbowing each other. Arcade game panels just aren't big enough for two adults.
