After having played it quite a bit in the arcade I'm afraid I would break that tiny drum :( .

The tatacon is suprisingly sturdy, you can really hammer it & it holds up amazingly well.

The song list is pretty good in taiko on wii, quite a lot of tracks (70 in total) i was convinced that they were going to do a half assed version that was dumbed down but it's rather well put together.

So do you recommend Taiko on the Wii, Importaku? Considering I'm quite a fan on these game types.

A few more Mega CD titles in the shape of After Burner III, Sol Feace and the Wondermega Collection. They maybe "tat" but I like them :D Also got a the now hard to find Japanese version of Turtles in Time although I'm going to sell it because I'm not happy with the condition of it. I sort of have this anal rule about any Super Famicom game I buy must be mint as can be.

Well it depends if you like jpop or not, but out of the songlist i like over half & i still have over 20 songs left to unlock. It's a solid game & well worth picking up if you like music games.

This turned up today, yay at least play asia didnt stuff up this order like my last one.

OK, I'll pick it up tonight on the way home with the new DDR game. By the way, what the hell is in that big box with Capcom VS Tatsunoko? I never got anything like that when I bought it last week. Is it a joystick or something?

Picked up the new DDR game on the way home tonight. Don't be put off by the kiddy style of the box though, this is true hardcore DDR that fans will love! And for fans of J-Pop you'll be happy to know that there are now many japanese tracks as well as western.

I was going to get that Taiko game on Importaku's recommendation however it was sold out everywhere. No worries, this new DDR will surely keep me busy for quite some time.

What's the story behind this then? Some kind of REZ OST?

EDIT: it's plastered with the DC logo, so it can't be... unofficial cover to the beta release?

Hehe nope no sanwa parts in that. It's ok to use, but it dosent feel like you could really punish it.

Yakumo: Yeah taiko is sold out everywhere even online i had to pay over the odds on ebay to get it. It's worth picking up when it eventually comes back in stock, it sold out for a reason hehe :) Let me know what that new ddr is like i still have to get them both.

The New DDR is far better looking than the last. Konami have actually pulled their finger out with this one. The music is a mix of J-dance, techno, j-rock, j-pop and 3 rap songs. What is odd is that one of the rap songs uses the music video for the background rather than the polygon areas like all other stages. Looks so F*ing cheap.

Over all the new DDR is far better than the older one however I did find it very easy to complete the tour mode (Did it without even losing one round). Hopefully the Difficult and Expert modes won't be so easy.

To be honest though, you really need to get both of the games mate to get the best out of all t he tunes. The great thing is though is the option to combine your DDR Hottest Party save (the 1st game) with the DDR Full Full Party save. The new game also lets you use the Mii faces on the pre-made bodies. I'll post a picture of my doing a John Travolta Saturday Night Fever effort if you like. Very creepy yet so funny.

Got this already a month ago, but finally came around taking some pictures of this beauty. I've been wanting this game for years now.

Got a new PCB for Christmas :D
    [IMG] [IMG]
Vimana, Toaplans maybe most unknown game. The ROM is missing the great background music (just like Dogyuun and Batsugun), so getting the PCB is actually the only option to enjoy this great Tatsujin-style game. I love it for its sleepy space atmosphere. :)

    And some Bavarian goodness
