55084 (or something like that, not near it right now).

No box or manuals but I didn't pay much for it I'm beginning a Neo Geo collection as a growth investment and I just wanted a unit to play games on for now. I plan to pick up a Korean console if and when I go back to Seoul.

    Cost me under £100.

In korea a boxed Neo Geo was 110,000won which at the time was about £60. Kick myself to this day for not buying it.

The guy also had an impressive collection of software too all at a fixed price of 200,000 each which is £100. Who knows what they were, I never took the time to look but they all looked in good condition, again I should have got them.

At the time I had little interest in SNK now I care about nothing else.

thats not a bad price for AES shapped happines.

How long ago were you there, how much do you think they are likely to have gone up since?

Im sure there is a disease yet to be discovered, "NeoGeo fever" when the obsession takes hold it is very hard to shake.

    LOL...

Let's just say I have a broad taste in movies. I abbreviated the movie because I knew someone would say something. But yeah, it most likely is what you think it is.:lol::lol:

Following in the footsteps of ave, I also got the Yuukyuu no Gensoukyoku Hozonban Perpetual Collection complete with phone card, art work and sticker. Unfortunately mine is a bit sun faded on the front but for 2000 yen I can't complain plus it's mint as well apart from the front. The other 2 items are also quite rare being Courier Crisis and a Koie twin pack. Courier Crisis is complete shit as you know but very expensive and one of the rare Saturn releases. far more rare than the so called rare Radiant Silvergun. The best part though is mine cost next to nothing

Man, I hate Wal*Mart. I go in to pick up a $10 optical mouse because I lost mine (long story). I ended up dropping $115 on the complete Star Wars trilogy dvd set, which includes both the digitally remastered and original theatrical releases, as well as all 4 volumes of Futurama. The Futurama volumes were $15 each. I couldn't afford not to buy them!

I also bought Dark Sector (X360) for $8 new. And Tiger Woods '09 (X360) for $22 new. And a used copy of Fifa '06 (X360) for like $6 used.

    @yakumo
These three are some nice newcomers! Believe it or not but I am most jealous on that Koei boxset^^ After spending a few years into jpn Saturn collecting I came to the conclusion that Koei created a collector's hell with all their fucked up boxset and game variations. "Koei the Best", "Genteiban", "Genteiban Special Package", "Genteiban Premium Package", "Value Set" and so many more. They really are the king in releasing different versions of one and the same game. Furthermore, especially those twin sets are really a pain in the ass to find, even more than their Limited Editions of strategy games (those with the same layout as i.e. Game Tengoku LE) >_<

How many of those Koei Twinsets do you own? I was yet only able to obtain the EMIT Value Set for quite a price.

ps: Wow, the shop sold it under value: 11'980jpy ^^

I've only got the one Koei set which is the one above. I wasn't going to buy it because the box is a bit scuffed on the corners but then I realized how hard they are to come by. The best part is the price. How much do you think?.......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

    .............

    Good price :110:
The only other set apart from my EMIT one that I saw for sale was 2000yen (the "Nobunaga Value Set", but the front was faded). The EMIT one cost 7000 on yahoo, but considering that it was the first time ever that I saw it for sale I just had to buy it >_<
BTW: A shame EMIT was never featured in a Retro Core volume. Really an interesting effort by Koei.

I've done some stuff like that although not with as much as you. I Traded my gamecube on here for a DC and some games then not long after that i go into a couple of gameshops Looking for the cheapest new or in decent condition used copy of Tiger woods 05 on the xbox and i end up getting along with that a Gamecube and some games.

I'm the worst when i have spare cash and go into or past gameshops especially ones that have some older xbox and gamecube games or even places like HMV because i'll always go in and then buy stuff when i wasn't planning on.

First appeared in 1994 on the Apple Macintosh and NEC PC-9821 (one of the few games that required a PC-9821 rather then a PC-9801) and appeared later on the FM Towns, Windows 3.1(!), Windows 95, Super Famicom, Playstation and Sega Saturn.

I know the history of EMIT and its ports (though it may "slipped my mind" that it required rather a PC-9821 than 9801^^), but that does not change anything about it being a shame that Yakumo never did a feature on it :110:
