Indeed it is, I've always been fond of the SP and now I own one :110:

The unit is a bit scratched on the outside and a few scruffs on the screen but overall is in good shape. Can't complain either as it came for free.

The Micro is another GB I've been wanting for a long time, looks so nice!

I'll leave it charging now so I can play when I come back :icon_bigg

I had to play with it when I was a child but even the fond memories don't convince me to play with it nowadays. It's just too GREEN! :110: I thought that back in the day and I stick to this impression up to this day.

Yeah, I need such a Philips monitor myself one day. It's an awesome toy for the small RGB snack inbetween ^^

Kudos for actually buying all those old PCB's. May I ask how you get them this clean? I've been trying to brush them with ear sticks & alcohol, but it didn't look as immaculate as yours. Do you bath them in cleaning solution?

An old (as in one that's been well used for its primary purpose for a few months and then discarded) toothbrush works WONDERS for cleaning old boards. Don't use a new toothbrush. Repurpose the one that you're replacing with a new one.

Yes a toothbrush or similar can be used to remove the dust thats stuck and then i usually use water to clean them (in the shower) you have to be carefull if you want to keep paper labels though.

When are you going to do some videos, mate? I'm really looking forward to see how this looks in action. All the stores around here only have demo shells on display :(

Stuff I've bought the last month. More costly than you'd think. :(

Well I was rather referring to what they and their content stands for than to the rarity/price.

Yeah, I got them both for about £30.

DoDonPachi was £36 and beatmania IIDX Empress worked out at about £73 because I was stung with import taxes.
