Thank you folks! I've been on the quest for a 64DD for years, being a huge N fan this moment could only be surpassed if the Reggienator knocked on my door right now.

It would be a great weekend if I had a TV to try it LOL! Right now I'm in the US on business and renting a barely furnished apartment and don't have a TV haha, wen't to a garage sale this morning to see if I could find one but no luck. I'll try to get one tomorrow, in the meantime I'll spend time looking at all the inserts and manuals, that brings me back to my childhood haha!

 

You got all that in one go?

 

Yup. I sometimes find more but this was the biggest Sega haul.

Been busy I see Dante

 

I've been busy selling mainly. I was going out collecting but was spending far too much money and keeping too much of the stuff. Didn't go out for 4 weeks due to weather, waited for a sunny weekend and BAM! :cool-new: people had games.

Been building up the N64 collection from trades and online sources so it feels good to come home with assorted stuff.

Hopefully next weekend is sunny too.

 

Nice man, nice! I've been similar, although I sometimes over buy and then have to go months with buying. Small buys are not bad, but when I find something I barely see I go ahead anyway which is why I've sold a few systems myself.

 

I can spend up to £200 on games every week so really I have no rules I just go apeshit!

But yeh you're right, if it's rare, buy it; you don't know when you'll see it again, if you see it again.

I also tend to buy things if I'm seeing them for the 2nd time from another buyer say a month down the line,
I think that kind of instils the thought that something is worth buying. It can help if you missed something rare
but I do hate seeing the same old crap...

I say get out there mate, the boot sales are bigger than ever, the weather is great.

I´m really happy with how it "just works" and with the lack of issues. There is no static buzzing sound or any such nonsense, everything just seems to work... so far.

 

Finally got one of these beauties...



...for a reasonable $30.

Now I just need a Famicom.

 

Got OutRun 2006 Coast 2 Coast for $10. Goes for quite a bit on eBay for some reason...

 

Just checking - you do realise that some games on PAL Mega Drives have black borders top and bottom of the screen normally, unless you've modded it for 60Hz (you didn't mention in your post)?
