My first Blu-Ray movies.
Both Police Academy 1 + Police Academy 2 and Smokey and the Bandit are UK releases. Still, they have Brazilian Portuguese audio and subtitles. Funnily, neither are available in Brazil. :highly_amused:


Final Fantasy VII Advent Children (US version) has the worst product packaging i have ever seen in my life. It's so-called "eco-LITE vortex", slimmer than regular cases, full of holes and it makes bootleg copies look premium! Just look at it:

Any idea if i can get a slim blu-ray case replacement for this? The plastic is so cheap it looks like it's gonna fold just by looking at it. And i thought PS3 releases by Sony DADC Brazil used cheap quality cases.

PS: I gave 50 bucks to my brothers girlfriend to get a Blu-Ray for me. Got the DVD... Will have to try trade or sell to get my money back.

The Last of Us - Ellie Edition (PS3)
Received this one today, and man I've been looking forward to this game.

 

Interesting packaging on that european version of The Last of Us.

PS: $4,5 still is too much for that crap Aliens game.

 

I loved playing Journey, though it was a pretty short game... Still have to play flow and Flower.

 

i'd probably pay around that for a PC version of the game just out of Curiosity and to play it for myself. wouldnt bother with a console version

a SEGA Dreamcast, £10 console only untested. inc shipping, bought this for parts, but its 100% working just missing the modem but im not worried about that.

exceedingly happy with the dreamcast and it was really well packaged, took me a while and some brute force to get the package open.

Waiting on something a bit different to arrive now, took the plunge and decided to go for some arcade hardware. Against all advice logic and common sense.

Kane & Lynch is a decent game? Heard so bad things about it. Saw it somewhere for dirty cheap but passed it.

 

well i enjoyed the original on PC a while back, so figured i'd try the sequal, not played it yet so cant really say how well it holds up, the first was enjoyable although it depends on you're taste / preference in games.

1. A SONY Trinitron KVX2572U CRT TV - this was £Free came with remote control and manual - awesome set from 1994, RGB scart, s-video, and av input


Item 2:

Neo Geo MVS 6 Slot. - faulty got this for £30 shipped
its a huge beast it's in pretty decent shape i've not gave it too close of an inspection but the battery has leaked and killed a number of traces etc. i plan to attempt repair of my first neo geo hardware(and first arcade hardware)


i was worried when it arrived as it looked like this:

2 of the board mounts were sticking out of the box, but seems only one was damaged and as said the board looks fine other than battery leakage.
all in all very happy

someone local wanting rid of it but yeah its my first trinitron and i'm impressed tried it out with a megadrive at 50 and 60hz, looked great, tried to get a picture but not easy on a crt lol

Me too, it's a monster alright, had a closer look and there's a lot of eaten away traces to deal with - looking into the future i predict burnt fingers and swearing
these huge 6 slots are cool, speaker and headphone out jacks, joystick / gamepad ports, independent volume sliders for both audio jacks they were not screwin around when they made these beasties.

had my eye on a 1 slot too but this worked out cheaper

 

Good luck on that Neo Geo! Even undamaged 6-slots can be a bitch to play on!
