Micomsoft sold high-quality arcade sticks for PC-Engine, Mega Drive, Super Famicom and home computers since 1991. The Super Famicom-one looks similar to the JB King, but predates it. It's called XE-1 SFC. The Mega Drive stick is XE-1 ST2, XE-1 HE for PC-Engine and XE-1 Pro for home computers.

Capcom and Hori for PC-Engine/MD were okay, but not all too great - Micomsoft was always the best choice and some of their old controllers are fairly expensive now (boxed). The stick with the rotating buttons was the XE-1 ST2, the hori one for Mega Drive is just a plain arcade-stick like the Hori SS Fighting Stick for Saturn.

One thing I've always wondered about these mini sticks: why is the top of the knob concave? Is it possible to rest your thumb in there, place your fingers under the base and operate the stick with your thumb like a d-pad?

(I think of weird things sometimes)

I think it is because fighting game players tend to use the "wine glass" way of controlling the joystick, it facilitates half-circles for some players. In that position, the thumb may rest on top of the stick (but doesn't have to). That would be the only thing I could think of... but frankly, nobody needs it. Otherwise there would be arcade parts with such a concave dent, but there are none ^^

    Wine glass position:

Damn good indeed. The gameplay is so much different from the arcade-version, and I like both of them very much. The NES-version is much more rewarding and motivating... I tried to clear the arcade version once and it doesn't really matter if you use credits or not, either way it's extremely hard to proceed. Stage 3 or 4 is usually the end for me and I am not one who easily quits on arcade games.

It's not video game-related, but it's so beautiful, I can't help but post it anyway:

Well, I've picked up a few things as of late but I'm still waiting on a few things to arrive...

New PC copy of Alice: Madness Returns signed by American McGee
    Art of Alice: Madness Returns
A black parasol for my Alice cosplay
Replacement prop Vorpal Blade - just arrived today (the one I had previously made by hand was damaged just before I could get down to a convention in Melbourne, so I picked up a black parasol at Supernova Melbourne in the meantime)
Multiple issues of Young GanGan and Big GanGan... I'm reading the Drag-on Dragoon 3/Drakengard 10th anniversary comics.
    Sanodg Works album
    Syphon Filter Dengeki guidebook

    Stuff I'm waiting for currently:

    Multiple Drag-on Dragoon & Drag-on Dragoon 2/Drakengard/Drakengard 2 books
Phantom City promotional Alice: Madness Returns screenprint poster
Old 2004 issues of Young GanGan with the canceled Drag-on Dragoon manga in it along with various magazine interviews regarding the original game.
Old 1998 issue of Monthly GFantasy with the next part of the Persona manga. Still sadly haven't gotten the issues I've been looking for regarding Clock Tower: Ghost Head though. DX
Another two Japanese Syphon Filter guidebooks
A HUMAN Entertainment Fun Club issue (hopefully some Clock Tower stuff inside)
A remix album that included a remix of Tsukiru from Drag-on Dragoon/Drakengard

Wish there was some stuff for my Clock Tower and Demento/Haunting Ground collection, but I haven't really had any luck in finding anything new outside of random, overpriced cut out magazine advertisements for the games as of late (or mainly after I got screwed over by a seller on Taobao dicking me around for a few weeks before backing out on a sale, relisting it on another account and then backing out on the sale AGAIN before vanishing - at least I eventually got my money back after another couple of weeks for both times late last year and early this year for the second time).

Great keyboard man, I use this everyday. You'll love it, especially for $35.
