I just bought one of these for $30. No idea what it is worth, but a bunch of ebay auctions end at that price, so...

My friend has a famicom, so I'll have to bring it there to play. It is much better playing two players anyway :very_drunk:

Have bought all of this over the past few weeks

    img00311h.jpg

The top shelf is all retail consoles. The bottom has a Xbox DVT4, retail PS2, test PS2, and PS2 tool.

The codewarrior software is version 1.3 for the gamecube, but i don't have a ddh yet.

    img00221g.jpg

the box has seen better days, but the contents are in great shape.

    img00231pi.jpg

I'm still waiting on my debug xbox. I have a dvd emulator kit for the DVT4 also but i need to finish my dev pc first.

Ninja Warriors Again. It wasn't cheap at 6800 yen but did come with a free Kikikaikai but cartridge only :( Still, these cost about 4000 yen or more on yahoo so I'm well chuffed. Just need to find a high resolution box template and manual to print off my own.

Never knew the game was that rare on Super Famicom, always thought the mega cd version was only one worth a lot.

It's not just a port, it's more of a sequel with much extended gameplay compared to the original arcade game. The MCD-version is not the same game as the SFC "Ninja Warriors Again".

The Mega CD version is a little hard to find but it's not too expensive. The SFC version is one of those games that's very good and I guess not many were made hence the high price and rare factor. It's up there with Undercover Cops, Kikikaikai 1 and 2, Wild Guns, TMNT (The Japanese version cost silly money now), Final Fight 3 / Tough and a few others.

I am aware about the sfc version not being the same game as the arcade like the mega cd and pc engine versions, yeah the cheapest I have ever seen super famicom tmnt was a while back on ebay boxed for $65 from someone in florida.

$65 for a boxed TMNT is good if it was mint. The price now is stupid in Japan for that game. Yesterday I was looking for a boxed Undercover Cops but the cheapest I could find in good condition was 24000 yen. That is lot of money.

TMNT is rising in the states too, Turtles in Time cart only can go over $30 now.

Anyway these were $19.96 shipped from Japan.

The classic Mega CD. I love that machine but they are so temperamental.

Still happy I found my Japanese model 1 mega cd in thrift shop for $7. Still going very strong after having it for over a year and a half. Bios and design scream 90s high end electronics. Love how japanese mega cd has gold mega cd player badge.

Heh. You guys make it sound like model 1 Mega CD is more reliable than model 1 Sega CD.

i've had er open and was pleased to hear the nice "crack" sound from screws not unscrewed since factory, caps look fine, was a bit of cleaning inside to do someone spilled milk or something in it at one point although non of it got near the electronics, just a little oxidization on the shielding and L R audio jacks but thats expected from a 21 year old console. even the memory battery still works, it had thunderhawk save data lol. plays everything great. you can still get a bargain on ebay.
(has the expensive JVC laser though pfffff)

I went down to Mandrake today (took a video too, a really sneaky one at that) and picked up a few classics.

Contra Spirits, GS Mikami and El Viento are all apparently brand new, never used games. The Contra Spirits box does show some ware but was priced accordingly so not bad at all. Out Run 2019 is really manky to be honest. Not even what I'd call good condition but at least it was very cheap at 300 yen. I think they should have kept that game as Junkers High rather than adding the Out Run name to it. Junker High has a much better Sci-Fi feel to it.
