Germany has the amazing Nuerburgring for public access numerous times a year (or every weekend? I'm not sure). Just go there, pay a fee, and drive.

One day I will go there and do exactly that.

It was! It arrived in perfect condition and no wonder, they packed the crap out of it. EVERYTHING was wrapped in bubble wrap, which they also taped up to remove any air pockets. They even taped the contents of the box to the box itself to prevent any movement, which is a good idea I think I'll have to steal.

phew, that's a big relief. I have a big order, and I was worried. Did you pick regular or super secure shipping?

Regular. Which makes me wonder what secure shipping would be like, I mean, how much further could they have gone? Wrap the shipping box itself in bubble wrap?

Secure shipping was double boxed for me, and a ton of bubble. I had enough stuff to make it worth the cost.

I'm kinda wondering if they had cut down on how securely they packed my order, it would have lowered shipping and still arrived perfectly fine. I mean. they have a light shipping option, but they said they don't use any bubble wrap with this option, and I'd like a bit of bubble wrap.

Ok I see, that's good to know. Regular is single boxed very well padded and secure is double boxed. I'll probably lean towards secure since this order has so many items I probably won't find again easily.

Found an original Xbox at Cash Converters for 15 bucks with all it's original accessories.

They normally go for like $34 at that place, it was marked as "parts" so maybe it was discounted. I plugged it in and everything works fine, so I have no idea. Picture does flicker and roll when it's booting, I'm not sure if this is just how the console normally acts, or it's something else. Now I own an original Xbox, and I got it for real cheap! Heavy bastard though! How do I reset the console to factory default? I wanna erase it's hard drive and start fresh.

^- Your cheap Xbox find has just reminded me about the console I got a couple of weeks ago.
I was given this clear Xbox.
It has all of the cables and a couple of games. Its also in very good condition.
Not bad considering it was free.

Last weekend i found a Japanese 230 Cs IBM thinkpad mini laptop at a local fleemarket for 20 euro's
It has the original japanese powersupply with it an a step up converter, it works fine but it has the dutch version of Windows 95 on it
After a google search i found out it is a asia only model.
I was kind a suprised when i found it ,as it is the first time for me to actally find a japanese computer in the Netherlands.

I would like to know if i could do some special japanese things with it :)

Two Mega Drive games this week being TMNT and the classic Gaiares. Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate edition also turned up in the post this afternoon. I had forgotten all about this. Must have put it on order a few months back.

Not my usual purchase but I got Carmageddon on Android the other day. Well worth the $2 in my opinion, although with my phone I get a weird Multi-touch issue, and never happened on my tablet. Could of been the latest update to the game, I'm not sure.
