Yep, they're just far too massive. I guess that's one thing I like about DC characters and so on, they're not over the top, and that's including power girl

It's a great figure for a good price though, considering the detail on her.

Seems to be standing just fine at the moment mate, I've also knocked it a few times and has kept balance. I've added a 10g weight at the base too.

 

Haha, well outside of stuff I'm collecting in general - I'm kinda picky about statues or figures I get.... That's why I don't have that many.

Yeah, I looked into the price for her - I was expecting probably another $75-$100 for it, I was pretty surprised given the quality of the casting and paintwork being really quite smooth but given that it's both PVC and ABS - I know that figure itself will also have a nice and smooth texture too if it's using one of the newer types of ABS which quite a few figures and statues have been using this year that make it quite hard to get stains or marks on them.

The stand it has looks a hell of a lot better than the prototype pictures that were on a few sites. Though, glad that you've weighted the base - statues and everything with those sorts of unusual poses or that have to be assembled always worry me, another reason why I don't buy a lot of statues! >_<

 

Two new Xbox One games arrived through the post this week. Series one of The Walking Dead and Shadow of Mordor Steel Box Edition. I was surprised to get the steel box version as I had only ordered the normal one

 

Nice purchases Yakumo. Everybody's saying Shadow of Mordor is great.

I got this on Saturday, but i only managed to take pictures today.



It was quite a deal, less than 1.000 Reais after the VAT refund (the "official" one costs 3.999 Reais and on the grey market, for about 1.500 and 1.600 Reais). I never had any color preference, but i must say the white console looks fantastic.

The game even comes in normal game case with the disc. Played it a bit, just the introduction, and enjoyed it. Don't care if it's amazing or not, for the price i got the bundle i consider it a free bonus. Still If any of you want to play Destiny together, just add me on PSN (contact through PM if you're not on my friends list). I wouldn't mind some help as i'm a level 2. =P

In the end, i'm glad i bought it, as the Real lost value to both the dollar and euro since and the prices in Brazil will likely get even worse.

 

Man, you got a great deal on that PS4. Less than half price plus you got a real disc game unlike the shitty download of Taitan Fall I got with my Xbox One. I still haven't really played that game much. Maybe 1 hour max It needs a real off line story mode.

Hey i brought my new Armageddon Game only for $15 from online store duringdays

 

I just bought a tourist trophy promo copy from ebay and the condition was "unbelievable" and different from the actual picture, thus I believe it suit this unbelievable thread.

 

Heh seems like someone used it a coaster and had trouble gripping the glass sliding shit everywhere.

 

It was a great deal indeed and getting a real physical copy of the game was a nice touch as well.

Anyway, how's Shadow of Mordor? Is it really that good?

 

Funny thing is that I wanted to play the game, however the in game intro FMV is stuttering and unviewable. =(
Thank god the seller refunded the $$$ immediately. Guess I got to hunt another copy again.

 

Don't think restoring the disc would help? Depending how deep the damage is.

 

Its all deep scratches at the top and bottom and I think its not worth the trouble to have it done. the FMV pause and play every 0.5 seconds, and loading time is almost forever.

 

I'm trying to get in to it but haven't had much time. So far I'm enjoying going around killing everything in sight I've not really done much in the way of the story yet but I am enjoying what I've seen so far. I really like the way different enemies can remember when they've met or had a battle against you.

Today I decided to buy an XBOX ONE, I got the Sunset Overdrive bundle since it also came with a physical copy of Forza Horizon 2.

System is beautiful in white

If your not going to use it with your cable/tv box then connect the HDMI in on the Xboxone to your 360, and you can easily snap between the 360/One consoles. Are the Sunset Overdrive consoles 1TB?

 

SO are 500gb. And isn't there lag on the input?

It's one of the few consoles I think that looks better in white.

 

Nope no lag using the HMDI passthru on the Xbox One for me, one is setup with Xbox 360 and one is setup with a cable box and the white one is neatly packed away.
