Can I just create a user on Yahoo auction, and buy things there and people ship it overseas?
I thought that you had to use sites as "jauce.com" to buy something from Yahoo auction?

You can make an account if you have a Japanese credit card and address but maybe that's if you only want to sell stuff.?

    Hmm, I can't really say.
I don't really understand much on Japanese, and google translate isn't exactly helping :D
I have no intention of selling anything on the site, only buy.
The problem with sites like Jauce, is that they charge for everything.
Shipping twice, fees here and there.
Would be so much easier to cut that "middleman" out.

99.9% of all YA sellers just won't deal with international buyers (language, payment, shipping). That's the problem.

Yep! Super hard might even be an understatement :p

Just adding to this thread in general, I also picked up some CIB SNES games off Yahoo recently. Super Mario World and Populous were 1100 yen together, and Super Mario All-Stars was 6700 yen. That might seem like a lot for All-Stars, but it's about half the price I would have to pay if I bought the game off eBay in worse condition.

That is a really nice buy!
I am so jealous of you living in Japan, you have acess to all those rare and (often) cheap collectiables :)

Yep! The biggest advantage in my opinion is all the dev stuff, it shows up incredibly often over here and sells for less as a result.

Purchased a Fairchild Channel F (in box, but Box is rough) and 6 Games. Games look new, some have NO marks on connections and 5 of them come with box's and manuals. All for $70 on ebay. The Fairchild is in good condition, power coming in but can't seem to get a signal out. Still working on it. 12032251_10206830813841392_6359820702978628802_n (1).jpg

It's really cool that you got it then. Also that's not a bad price at all for SM All Stars. Usually here it goes for at least $30 loose, and a box often will double the price of a Nintendo game (SMS and Genesis games are a lot easier to find complete, because the boxes were more often kept).
Also how easy is it to get SNES games in Japan? Are they at like game shops or do you have to import them?

I usually import them, but they show up from time to time on Yahoo Auctions. I'm almost always the one who gets them :p

I forgot to mention before that I got a SNES CIB console for 12000 yen off Yahoo as well. That was one hell of a deal, considering it was 100% complete with all the plastic bags even.

@vinyl Haha, i guess so, figured that all these items will be hard to get after this year. It wasn't available in Singapore, so i imported from the States. I paid quite dearly for it to be shipped to Singapore =(

Anyway, theres plenty of sellers selling it on ebay platform so do grab yours early if you are keen.
