Not retro or obscure, but I got a sweet deal on a xbox one. Someone nearby was selling a faulty one, said it didn't connect to network so he couldn't finish initial setup, since it needs a day one patch.

He said he didn't have a lan at home but he tried using his phone as hot spot but it didn't work, then he tried it at his friends garage, of all places, with a wire but it didn't work either. So I thought what the hell, I pick it up and see if I can work around it or fix it in some way. Brought it home and sure enough, the wireless was fried, but when I connected it through a wire it worked without a hitch. So I just bought a xbox one for 30€.

I certainly lucked out today - got this at the Ap Liu St. flea market in Hong Kong - it cost me HK $40 (about US $5)

The case is a bit discolored, the parallel port cover is missing and the CD drive is weak, but it basically works, and plays Video CDs with no problems.

IMG_0877.jpg IMG_0878.jpg IMG_0880.jpg Not a huge haul, but found two rather fun, kooky things at flea market last week. This blue RCA TV, where the back shell is see through and this Sega IR7000. Paid 25$ total.

@Speedylink: They are fairly hard to come by with great picture and build quality, Just don't plan on taking them back out of the TV, they hold on like they're cemented in! I've only seen them 4 times in last two years, so I guess that's about once every six months of flea markets, thrift stores, etc. (but I do go..A LOT) Full Ebay price was about $50 but not sure if it's gone down now that a HDMI cord is on the market for $25. There's also an OEM one but I haven't run across that one yet, runs about same price as the Monster's.

@Jackhead: Nice ones finds! Lollipop chainsaw is just stupid fun! I really enjoyed that game.

These ones look pretty much mint. Looking on ebay it doesn't look like the price has gone down any.
    Good info.

Recently there are a lot of NOS 90's Taiwan Mega Drive/Genesis bootlegs on ebay from Venezuelan sellers so I got a few and a clone controller. The seller also threw in a free converter cart which I wasn't expecting.

The box is very convincing, but you can tell right away after opening it.
