well im in the midlands, and go to about 4 different carboots at the weekend, not all at the same time, i tend to rotate which ones i go to, otherwise keep seeing the same crap week after week, and the wife is pretty cool about it, she comes with me and on occasion got some good deals herself (few weeks ago, she gota m3 cart for the ds with a 1gb card for £5)

As for storage, have got a decent sized garage i keep all the stuff in, but doesnt stay there for long, as it usually on ebay within a week or so, i pretty much earn a living by doing a few hours a week hunting for bargains and re-selling, and as long as i keep the taxman happy (and the wife and kids with their pockets lined) ill keep on going!

Is each car boot sale on every week for you, or do some pop up every fortnight?

Here in Australia, at least where I am, I only have two car boot sales near me, and they swap each week. I've found some awesome stuff from them, and I've had much better luck there than garage sales. Car Boot sales aren't huge over here [due to the lack of.. people :p] but I've found some gems from them.

Not a huge miracle, but I've found three damn copies of Final Fantasy VIII in the last month, from the same Cash Converters store, for 8 or 10 bucks each

well most weekends there are between 5-6 carboot sales within a 20mile radius of where i live, but if i go to the same ones week after week you tent to see the same overpriced crap again and again, so i try to vary which ones i go to

used to love the cash converters by me until it closed down, in the 5 games for £10 deals in there i got loads of ps1 and dreamcast games, inc all the ff series, the breath of fires, vandal hearts, suikoden, grandia, and skies of arcadia, shenume etc for the dreamcast, but alas it was shut down a few months ago as it was being investigated for handling stolen goods (no surprise there!)

oh and got a couple of good deals today, zelda orcania and majora for the n64 for £1.25 each near mint from a charity shop and a dancemat and game for the cube for £2

    Well, not game related..

I see others posted non game related deals. A year back I had to make some room in one of our DCs. We had gear that wasnt in use since 2004 or so due to constant upgrades we go through, so it was either trash it or take it. It took me two trips, but I got:

    Clustered pair of Netapp F760's
    10 x FC9 shelves(each shelf has 7x36gig FC drives)
    2 x spare f760 heads

    5 x Sun A1000 arrays(each had 12 x 36gig FC drives)

20 original PS1 games, most of them promo editions - FREE <thanks to local Freeshare ad>

I'm also picking up a 233Mhz iMac tonight for free <Freeshare again> but that's to help a mate out with his dead unit.

Apparently the Freecycle guys in Glasgow had a falling out and Freeshare was born. Again I also heard that there was some legal dispute, which seems to go completely against the nature or ethos of such a site. Just try Freeshare in Yahoo groups or via Google to see whether any local groups have sprung up. It is almost the same, albeit different rules (marginally) and fewer people at present.

What makes it worse is that he also offered me over 100 copied PSx titles, which I declined. Argh, why am I so honest about copyright :crying:

I binned a load of Promo PS2 PAL games (about 50 odd), mainly because most of them were shite and I didn't have enough time to arse around trying to give them away.
