I found that I had an old iMac DV in the attic I had forgotten about. It was a spare unit I had previously plundered for parts. Anyway a mate of mine was looking for parts and I said he could have it for free. He turned up for it and handed over a brand new Sagem myX6-2 mobile 'phone, just when I was about to ditch my old Sony mobile!

He repairs mobile 'phones and apparently he bought a bulk load, so lucky old me!

 

This isn't momentous stuff, but I still think this was a pretty good price.

Best of all, we were able to take a unused car cover we had, cut out over 3 feet from it, put it back together, and we saved couple hundred for a car cover that fits the mini perfectly!

A few years ago I got 10 NES systems for roughly 10 US $. I've been modding them ever since, painting them (i.e. Zelda theme) putting the systems in other boxes, etc.

 

I just bought a american PS3 60GB system, with Madden 07, Resistance fall of man, need for speed carbon (games), and casino royal, crank, gridiron gang (blu-ray movies) with an extra sony wireless controller for $500

 

Talking about CDIs...

Today I got a CDI 210 with 42 discs for about 30 dollar from a nice lady "cleaning up the garbage". The funny thing. Two cds were rather special. She said to me "I have these two discs, I got it from my neighbour who used to work at the CDI division, it was only for internal use so you probably don´t want it". Well, I said, if you going to throw it away I COULD take it if you don´t want it anyway... Ahhh

 

What are they? And how much. Lol

 

One cd is a kind of web browser (I think) promoting Eindhoven and some other companies but since it is in dutch im not sure what is suppose to do. The other cD is more interesting, called "mission on music" marked june 1995, public affairs and is some kind of internal propaganda cd where you have four songs with pro philips propaganda. It even has a karaoke mode

Do anyone know a rarity guide on cdi? Would be interesting to look up the other stuff..
