The best deal I have made (but not nothing great compared with other deals on this thread) was trading my SNES with 2 joypads and 2 games with a Sega Saturn with 1 joypad and 2 games (back then when the Saturn was still active in the market). Unfortunately few months later I had to trade my Saturn with a Playstation since I couldn't afford byuing a Playstation and I didn't have money for new Saturn games (yeap, I was byuing pirate games on Playstation).

The most unusual - and definitely most hilarious - deal was made by my little brother when he was in elementary school. A friend of his asked him to give him his ice-cream and in return he would give him Terminator Vs Robocop for Gameboy (back then when Gameboy was still active in the market). The game was so shitty (even my brother didn't like it) that he said "Damn! My ice-cream had more value that this game." I don't remember what happened to the game later (maybe my brother trade it for a bubblegum  ).

Philips CDI with 16 games at Goodwill. $15 for the CDI and $1 per game, most are awful but I did get perfect copies of Link and Zelda:wand of gamelon. Not bad but I think it'll sit on my shelf till my wife makes me get rid of it

Holy shit that's like £20! I've wanted a Yaroze all my life but haven't had the balls to pay the huge prices on ebay. Wish I'd found this, even with shipping it's a steal.

I went after one on Yahoo Auctions the other day and it ended up going for over 9500yen, I don't know what it ended at but that was my max bid. I want a Net Yaroze so badly!

Heck just the console buy itself would be awesome . . .

Mafia II (PS3) for 17.90$ - Korean version but region free like every other ps3 game. Bought one, since I loved playing this on X360.

Not bad. I'm sure we all know of www.cheapassgamer.com right?
Good for north americans to see what should cost what. At least for new titles.

I bought two games for PS3 today - Toro to Morimori for 8.30$ and Pro Yakyuu Spirits 6 for 12.45$, shipping included. Why so cheap? Well, I've been lucky - one guy in my country wanted to get rid of all ps3 games he had, about 250 different titles. He had three games that I was interested in, those two I mentioned before, and Aquanaut's Holiday. I asked him if he would sell me lot of three before listing auctions. I proposed 25 usd + shipping charges for each game, he refused my offer and said he would rather put his games on auction site because it would fetch him higher price.
Long story short - I managed to win two auctions, since people were not interested in japanese games, too bad Aquanaut's Holiday was won by someone else (with 0 feedback). Anyway I can't really complain about it since I got 2 games dirt cheap :)

That doesn't look new and I don't see any controllers or cables. It also doesn't have the development software package which was separately boxed. Still, not a bad price for the unit itself.

The Second Picture only shows the Box for the Net Yaroze itself. it doesnt show the Software package box. Hopefully it comes with the Serial to USB cable, Access Card (special memory card) and Yaroze Development Discs. Without them you basically have a mod chipped PSX.

Infact a cheap net yaroze setup is just a chipped PSX with the Serial to USB cable, Yaroze Development discs and access card. And it functions identically to a 'real' net yaroze. Also there are ways to get the yaroze Development disc and serial cable to function without the access card too.

Either way, a net yaroze console for $30 is a STEAL!!! Thats incredibly cheap. you are quite a lucky lucky person.

I picked up a complete and immaculate Wily Wars at a pawn shop the other day for $2. Almost didn't grab it cuz I had not heard of it but I liked the cover art. It was labeled for $8 but for some reason they rang me up for $2.

Good going. Tidy little profit if you sell that on, it's one of the more expensive Megadrive games, especially complete.

I've been both screwed and gifted by various eBay sellers in the past couple of weeks.

I originally bought a 40GB PS3 Demo Unit that I intended to convert to retail and jailbreak for about $190. It was pictured as a console in mint condition with authentic accessories (and he said it came with it's original box, which made me buy it over the other ones in the first place). What I received instead was a beat-up, YLOD-impending PS3 with very generic accessories (and it came in a Cheetos box instead for flavor, I suppose).

After sending negative feedback, he agreed to refund me if I revised it. I sent it back the day after I received it through USPS, and they destroyed it! Thanks to insurance, though, I got my full refund, and he gets to deal with the post office! :D

I then ended up finding a mint 60GB PS3 with a DualShock 3 and an official Memory Card adapter for around $220! This 60GB is actually quieter than the demo unit I had!

Btw, I'm on PSN now as Eviltaco64. Add me if you'd like to. :)
