An older full size N64 store kiosk, no console, controller, or monitor. Original key matches lock, some effort needed to restore it to working condition.

Cost? FREE FREE FREE FREE!!!! and this isn't a joke. Pictures coming tomorrow after I get it unloaded and set up. Needs to be dusted badly.

I also spotted Gamecube store kiosk at Goodwill (of all places!!) but they wanted $150 for it, AS-IS disclaimer, and no visible power cord to plug it in to test, no GC console or monitor either. GC controller is still installed. I asked, they didn't know anything about a key for the lock, and the cover is still locked so it'd need to be picked or drilled out and then replaced. Decided to let someone else have it.

Found a very nice, almost mint Platinum Gamecube for $16. It has digital video port which makes this model the original limited edition. There's almost no dust inside so it appears the previous person got it, maybe played a couple hours, then left it unused for many years.

Also got clear-orange Mad Catz wireless controller with matching receiver for only $6, works with PSOne.

Picked up a PS3 at good will for $50. Backwards compatible with the card readers and stuff. Needed a new BD drive, which I got for $50 more. Resold it for $550 after I put CFW on it. I can't complain.

*sniff* I bought one with a defective drive, first generation, local pickup. Was greeted by the seller proudly saying: I still could update the firmware though to the latest version, Internet still works. Argh!

Yep, very expensive here too. Not sure why people want them SO badly. I'd rather use my PS2 and PSone.

It's easy, fewer devices to do the same job, less cluttered.

Yeah, but more devices mean they can be used independently, my brother can play PS2 while I watch a bluray.

How would you accomplish that on the same TV?
Sure, if you have multile TV's in multiple rooms it makes, but then it would make even more sense keeping it all in a cupboard, and hook it up to a Matrix, then distribute sources around the house through CAT7 and have 'em available on demand.
Was my original plan, but my apartment is a rental, so dropped that idea and now just have one set of devices in the living room, and a matching one in the bedroom.

My mothers sony bravia can split the TV in half.
1 half for HDMI and the other for HDMI 2.

Whilte that might be true, it's got to be a terrible experience. It's always been when I've used multiple sources.
But if it's good enough for you, I think it's fine.
The only reason I didn't think of it, is because I would never consider it an option for myself:)

Yea my little bros there use it. They are 5 and 10.
The 5 year old plays skylanders on the 360, while the 10 year old plays grand theft auto IV on the other 360. So yea, you know how that goes. Little kid game making noises while you play grand theft auto. Lol.

    I think I would go absolutely insane:p

But I'm single, and no family besides my parents who live by themselves, so no one but me to decide what the 55'er displays;)

some of the new 3D TVs come with polarized glasses. 2 people can see different pictures on the same screen that way, the picture is only using every second line though (but you don't notice with older consoles and almost not with newer ones). There are even some PS3 games who explicitely utilize this mode for multiplayer.
