Posted an interview with someone from NEON who did Tunnel B1 on Saturn. Includes some development kit talk as well.. :smt033

 

Did a lot of work on the site, but most of it behind the scenes. Three areas of the bonus section are up. The links, updates (whoopee) and the unreleased section. Slowly but surely, the other areas will come back to life, with some new content hopefully.

 

Ooh, I'll be up for a read of that. Maybe it explains why they never bothered with transparencies on the Saturn version or why the Japanese version has such a strange title with Tunnel B-1 being more of a sub title.

Actually they answered the latter.

And btw can you mention ANY 3rd party game out of 1996 that did good transparent effects on Saturn? It took untill games like Sonic R, Shining Force 3 and PDS for decent effects in 3d games.

 

Yep. Welcome House was made in 1995 I think and that has a transparent fish tank.

The flyers, wallpaper, and videos section are all now online. I guess the frontpage would be a good choice for the next portion to revive.

I might try to add another system to the YJ Assistant before too long. Just takes a lot of time. I've also got a few books to add but never got around to it due to the train wreck.

No, I don't hate everyone.

That's just the bottled up rage speaking.

But, what I do to handle stress is play extremely violent videogames, and write terrible rantings for my website, and draw comics of people getting thier heads chopped off.

Then I feel better.

 

Added about 8 new Saturn games to the site plus the Meag Drive Segatap. Also made a new Sega Saturn banner to a much nicer one that looks like the official Japanese Saturn logo.

Okay, the site is fully functional again, and I even fixed a few errors that were there before. A few more odds and ends to clean up and then I might actually be able to add more content.

 

Changed the URL to www.playright.info !

Added a lot of thing, including Xbox Tekki Pilot Casing and Space Fantasy Zone (real Sega fanatics will know this one!)

I added a simple search engine for the flyer section now that there are over 1000 total. You can of course list for each system as well. Also added about 40 PSX flyers over the weekend, a couple of games, and put back a lot of behind-the-scenes functionality that hasn't been running since the crash. Namely hit counters and page stats.

Added a Hi-saturn feature and the japanese Action Replay 2 to the hardware section.
