You'll think I m odd but I like all my games under the same license.. I mean I hate having multiple accounts for the same person.
why is this exciting? ps2's are readily available for practically nothing and most of the games are under $10. besides the ps3 just deinterlaces ps2 games and makes them so blurry (regardless of display) you're better off just buying a ps2 from craiglist.
sure ps2 games are common and cheap but this for me is great, I'm supper picky and getting a used game locally gets expensive which means I have to go online. So waiting to ship, plus decent price to not get a disc scratch to hell and shipping fee cost me more then just a meager $10 and getting it now while I'm bored. fwi I didn't forget, just bad weekend (wife sick), so hopefully I can get some pics and vids soon.
Just an update (I didn't notice this till tonight). 3 more PS2 games are hitting PSN this week (seems like we will get a dump once a month). Of the 3, i'd say they are a hit/miss depending on taste. I tagged on metacritic scores. I could see my self buying Bloodrayne for kicks (I remember having mindless fun with it) but uncharted 3 is out this week. ^_^ http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/10/30/the-drop-week-of-october-31st-2011-new-releases/ 76% - http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-2/harvest-moon-save-the-homeland Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland – Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland takes the popular series in a whole new direction, offering a deeper and more robust role-playing experience. It might be best described as a ‘Life Simulation’. 61% - http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-2/raiden-iii Raiden III – Raiden III for PlayStation 2 is a port of the classic arcade shooter, complete with a stage select mode that lets you replay stages once you’ve cleared them. The series has transitioned from its 2D roots to 3D, creating lush environments, devastating explosions and countless enemies, without a drop in frame-rate. Two players can play together to push back the invading forces, just like in the arcade! 75% - http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-2/bloodrayne Bloodrayne – As the vampiric agent BloodRayne, you’ll travel through the eerie swamps of Louisiana, to Argentina and Germany in this battle-heavy, third-person thriller. The game features non-linear gameplay in more than 40 levels and three massive worlds, the ability to suck blood for health, and to use slow-motion, zoom and aura visions to aid in death dealing. Pull off fantastic acrobatic moves to bend the environment to your will and dispatch enemies with BloodRayne’s blades and kicks for awesome in-your-face combat.
avoid bloodrayne, the GC version I had played on the GC back in the day looked like crap and played like poo.
