You misundertood me. I mean IGR of PSX games, not IGR of POPS. I might make a false example on Marvel vs Capcom. Some games themselves have IGR.
For example, when playing some RPGs,if you load a wrong save, you can press L1+R1+L2+R2+SELECT+START to back to the game main menu to load another save. But the hook of POPS's IGR combination keys stops it.
And here's another example: if you run imbNES via POPS, when you press L1+R1+SELECT+START to back to ROMlist, you will trigger IGR of POPS instead , not the reset of imbNES.
So, if the combination keys to IGR of POPS can be changed or disabled, that would solve this problem.

Already answered. POPS's IGR is L1+SELECT+START only, not need of R1. So there shouldnt be any problem.

    Please Read my description carefully.
Whether you press R1 or not, the IGR of POPS combination keys will override the PSX game's reset combination keys.
It's no concern of pressing R1 or not.

Well, never i tried the combination of L1+R1+L2+R2+SELECT+START and is the first time i hear that
some PSX RPG's have its own IGR, but why you are 100% sure that the problem is caused by
the L1+SELECT+START IGR of the emu?

Maybe the in-game IGR of this games just don't works because is not well emulated or any other kind
of problem, maybe if both IGRs conflicts the solution is more complex than just changing
    the combination buttons.

What is sure is that the ony one who can take a look then is kHn.

    Regards.

Try it (Pressing L1+R1+L2+R2+SELECT+START when Aya is controllable) in Parasite Eve. You will understand what I've said.

    [h=1]In-game reset for Final Fantasy 7[/h][h=2]In-game reset[/h]Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Select + Start during game play.
    http://www.chaptercheats.com/cheat/playstation/3884/Final-Fantasy-7/code/5195/

    Sim City 2000
    In-game reset
    Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Select + Start and game will start over.
    http://www.gamewinners.com/playstation/SimCity2000.htm

So, in-game reset for PSX games is not so that uncommon.

I see, i checked the game Parasite Eve and you are right, the in-game IGR not works, just opens
    the emu IGR.
But again, maybe the solution is more complex than just changing the buttons, because already
the buttons are different, anyway only kHn can take a look on it.

And well, for now, if you are wrong loading a saved game you can use the emu IGR and load again
the game like is needed in all the majority of games.

    Regards.

Thanks for all you guys to make a forum about popstarter, actualy theres about only 2 forums about it in whole internet, this one and http://forum.outerspace.terra.com.br/index.php?threads/ps2-popstarter-13.397319/

The only reason i began to use popstarter is the possibility to save games on USB unitys , so i may disregard ps1 memory cards, theyre actualy rare

But i am having some problems with some games, starting with resident evil 2(USA), all the cutscenes of the game are accompanies with a strange sound and the joystick doesnt vibrate when it was to, anyway it is still playable, didnt tested the japanese version yet,

I am actually having problems with Crash Team Racing, i first tried the USA veersion, shurely dont worked, i exchanged it by the japanese version and it worked fine until the game starts on campaign, when aku-aku appear to crash, but the next time aku-aku should appear to hint crash the game just freezes, also R2+R1+L1+L2+SELECT+START works, does anyone had this problem?

I tried to play CTR using popstarter but in the part that aku-aku should appear for crash by the second time on campaign the game freezes:(

    IGR of POPS

    Salut Mr Kreyson.

Pour le IGR de POPS, seulement "L1+SELECT+START" sont nécessaires.

Pour CTR, il n'y a pas de solution actuellement.

    Hi Mr Kreyson.

For IGR of POPS only "L1 + START + SELECT" are needed.

For CTR, there is currently no solution.

POPStarter 13+ Tool Box Version 1.0

Hi all. Sorry for not answering your posts (and PMs), real life keeps me busy. Thank you all for your contributions btw.

I made a quick fix for Crash Bandicoot Racing (SCPS-10118), here it is : Crash-Bandicoot-Racing--SCPS-10118-.zip
It lets you start races. Characters voices are still played constantly unfortunately...

And here's a little proggie you may find useful, it lacks a readme :
    Download : toolbox.exe
FYI, this CUE2POPS supports high density BIN/VCDs and allows you to convert your "combined" game discs.
When testing the command -vmcid, I figured out that there is a bug in POPStarter. The user ID function works in internal HDD mode, but not in USB mode :( . In USB mode, POPStarter puts some garbage character instead of the user assigned number (as you can see in this video, there's a stupid 'E' letter, not the expected '5' number...).

    Later.

    Hi Krhacken!
I post simply to say I'm happy to have some news about you (it's a lot of time!!)
Really thanks for your work... But... Just for information... There will be even a small possibility to make parasite eve 2 working on this great emulator? I'm completely sick with this game!!

Hi Krhacken, so...to use the TROJAN_1 bin file you created, just copy it to the VMC past of CTR, right?

toolbox.exe works exactly like CUE2POPS, the difference is that supports bigger VCD and BIN files and unity 2 game discs ( like MGS or RE 2), just dragging the 2 CD isos on it?

Thanks for your excellent work Krhacken!! and correction of CTR.
I would ask if it was possible to make a patch for the game 007 - Tomorrow Never Dies (SLUS_009.75), it always freezes after a few seconds ! ElPatas also encounter the same problem in European versions !, Thanks again !!!

So I'm trying to try this out and CUE2POPS can't work for me. In my normal Windows 7 64-bit, it crashes saying only that "this program has stopped working." I have to check the event log even to see anything (pasted below.) I tried the debug version as well just to be sure, but the same thing. I tried it on my 32-bit laptop (old netbook) and got the same result. I've tried running as administrator, with compatibility modes, and etc, but all have the same result. I tried it in a VM with 7 and the same thing. (I thought I had an XP setup, but it seems I don't.) In 98SE it says "invalid page fault." Since it's a simple .c file for the source, I tried compiling it in Linux and running it there. It said "segmentation fault" and nothing else. I also tried compiling in MingW32 and the exe it produced also has the same results as the binaries from the archive. At this point I'm completely at a loss. I don't even have anything to work with to diagnose the issue, much less ever begin to correct it. The sad thing is, the program works enough to show the header text and to tell me I have to give it an input file, it's only when I feed it an actual input file that it crashes.

EDIT: Ok, it seems I figured it out already after fighting with it for at least two hours. It turns out that it was only doing it on certain files but of course it was doing it with all the ones I tried first. It LOOKS like it has trouble with different amounts of white space in the CUE sheet than it assumes? The working one has more white space (namely I see the track 01 line is spaced over on the working one and lined up with the non-working. I tried to copy and paste, but apparently the forum isn't fond of white space either.)

I can't remember if I might have used different software on one versus the other as far as the working games go (I've used all sorts of different things over the years, but most are CloneCD -- in fact, the above was and I renamed it to .bin in case it just didn't like it being .img) and I can't see anything else between the two that's different except the white space.
